Writing 3D applications for Pocket PC's and SmartPhones is challenging because of the limitation of device resources ( slow CPU speed, Small memory, limited battery life and limited API). The MD2 format was first introduced in Quake 2. This format has a very efficient structure which makes it possible to load on low end computers as well as mobile devices.

Usage:

The Microsoft Device Emulator 1.0 is a standalone version of the same ARM based Device Emulator that ships as part of Visual Studio 2005.
