The good thing about about WOW slider is that it doesn’t use Flash. It’s based on Javascript, CSS and HTML, so it doesn’t require any plug-ins to run no matter what browser you're using. WOW Slider is really simple to use, even for the most technically-challenged users: all you need to do is choose the photos you want to include in the slideshow, and then customize behavior and appearance.

Using this plug-in is very easy. After installing it and registering as user – required to start using it – simply launch PowerPoint and you’ll see a new tab on the ribbon interface, containing all the VisualBee tools and options.

One especially useful feature is a wizard that helps you create animated bullet lists which gives your presentations an extra touch of class. The program's interface looks simple, but it's a bit confusing to use. For example, if you want to insert a title slide, you have to first insert a blank slide, then click on the "More" button beside the "Caption" field and then insert your title. The same happens with the basic graphic edition included in the program: they're not as intuitive as expected. Also, the program only includes two transition effects, too few in my opinion.

On the upside, PhotoStage is very easy to use. I like the fact that you can add both photos and videos, and above all, the wide range of formats in which you can save your slide show, including mobile devices such as a phone or an iPod and ISO image files.
