Choosing the format you want to convert to, hit "Convert" and you'll see the clock change to an arrow and finally to a green click when done. A handy conversion status bar lets you know how far the process has elapsed. The only problem I found is that sometimes, you get a "Failed to Initialise" message, which is usually because of Codec problems.

However, if you have at least Divx 5.x Codec for the DivX MPEG-4 format file installed plus the Xvid Codec for Xvid MPEG-4 format, you should have no problems with this excellent converter.

When launching TubeHunter Media Center you'll be presented with a nice, green interface from where you can access the program's different tools. Each of them work as an independent app and run separately from the main interface – something that may please some users, but which I find a bit uncomfortable.

Strangely enough, the apps included in TubeHunter Media Center don't share the same look and feel as the starting window. Instead of having a smooth, green skin, they display a gray, blocky style that seems to have been directly imported from Windows 3.1.

This weird look, together with the surprising lack of preview window and an annoying registration message that pops up every time you use the program make the whole TubeHunter Media Center experience a rather unpleasant one.

TubeHunter Media Center does support lots of formats for video conversion, but fails to provide a decent working environment.

Forewave Video Converter is very simple indeed. Add your video files by dragging and dropping, right-clicking inside the program or choosing Open. Select the Output Format from the drop down list and chose the Output Folder. That's it!

This app is very simple and in keeping with that, it has very few configuration options. Of the options it does have, there is absolutely no need to modify them unless you want to.
