iSysCleaner 1.04 Build 64-Clean temporary files

You may not realize it, but everything you do on your PC creates files, cookies or registry entries that end up taking space. iSysCleaner is a free application focused on cleaning up all those junk files. We were a bit put off by the small window interface, which you can not resize. This is particularly annoying when you want to scroll through the log of your analysis. After using the program we've found that it works much better by scanning and deleting individual items instead of doing all of them at the same time.

Another annoying thing in the application is the pop up warning window that appears every time you click the "Clean section" button. There's no way to remove it so you'll have to put up with it.

You can set iSysCleaner to work on system logon and set a priority level for the process. While this is a nice feature it doesn't really serve any purpose, as the program requests to be the only one running every time you need to use it.

iSysCleaner is a solid files cleaner but its functionality is somewhat riddled by some little annoying issues.

Psst! is a simple application that lets you adjust or mute the volume of your Mac's startup chime or startup sound.
When installed, simply double-click Psst!
in Finder to adjust the volume settings. It's not quite as customizable as startupsound.prefpane, which allows you to instantly activate and deactivate the sound but its very similar.
Its a little less sophisticated in that it automatically adjusts the volume settings just after shutting down or logging in.
The only problem is that Psst does not work on all Macs and you'll have to check the compatiblity list to see whether it works on yours or not.
Psst! is a simple way to silence your Mac startup chime.

One of the best things about Firefox is its download manager. Download Manager Tweak does what you'd expect, and slightly improves the experience.

Once you've installed and restarted Firefox, you'll have a new Downloads tab in Options. Ad well as the usual download options, Download Manager Tweak will have added new abilities. You can now choose to open the download manager in a sidebar or as a new tab, removing the normal extra window that Firefox uses. There's also a download toolbar, which is customizable.

The toolbar has a Launch, Open Folder, Delete File and Remove File buttons. The download information is also expanded slightly.

Download Manager Tweak doesn't add a great deal to Firefox, but being able to choose where the manager shows up is nice. Opera keeps downloads inside the browser, and feels much more modern for it, so having the same option for Firefox can only be a good thing. The other Download Manager Tweak additions are pretty minor.

Task Coach will take care of all your pending tasks, as well as important dates and meetings, so that you never forget any of them again and you can also prepare them ahead of time. By organizing your tasks in a better way with Task Coach, you'll notice an increase in your productivity, making use of your time in a more optimized way and therefore gaining time for other tasks - or to enjoy your hobbies once work is over.

The tasks in Task Coach can be organized in categories and seen as list or tree structure. They can also be configured separately, which means that each one of them will have its own title, description and percentage of effort that has been applied on its completion. Plus, Task Coach can be run from a removable USB device, so you can take it anywhere with you. If you don't have your USB memory stick with you, then you can always export the task list to HTML.

It would have been nice to have more exporting formats in Task Coach, as well as other small tools we missed like task reminders. But these are just little details that we can forgive in such an useful application.
