Wazzal features the classic Asteroids perspective and gameplay– a zenithal point of view and rotational movements – but in a totally different game.

Wazzal is set in the year 2314, when the human race has expanded to some other planets in the Solar System and you work as part of the crew in a cargo spaceship. When war breaks out, it's your turn to take control of the ship and fight for survival as a space pirate.

Your overall aim in Wazzal is to gather a complete fleet of ships so that you can defeat more powerful enemies. You'll be assigned different missions, usually involving traveling from one planet to another, meeting other people and eventually engaging in space battles.

Despite this original plot, I found Wazzal to be a bit disappointing, especially the graphics, which are not as good as I expected. Also, gameplay in Wazzal is so different from other games it makes it really difficult to control the spaceship.

Wazzal is a new twist to Asteroids clones: a space pirates adventures that unfortunately may be a bit too difficult to play.

Originally written to test some routine functions, this program evolved to become Mono, a shooter that mixes the classic Asteroids game with Robotron with Paint Shop Pro. Picking up power ups as you go, you must shoot the large balls of color which then break in to several parts which you must also destroy. As you hit the balls, they leave what looks like a stain on the screen and soon you have a really cool multicolored background that then changes when your pod gets hit.

Plobb is a colorful, nice game with an original style in the design of characters. You're represented by a simple head, and your enemies are... bubbles.

The aim of the game is to escape from a castle where you've been kept prisoner by those evil bubbles (how can you take a bubble-shaped enemy seriously?), though you won't see any castle at all, as the game's background is just a squared color pattern. While running away from the castle, you'll need to get rid of enemies by spitting at them (yes, you didn't misread it, I said spitting).

As simple as it seems, Plobb will certainly challenge your agility and speed in controlling the mouse. Every time you spit, I mean, shoot an enemy it'll become smaller and eventually split into several creatures, until you can finally wipe it out. Some bubbles will give you power ups when disappearing from the screen, which is good because sometimes it takes ages to finish them.

In all, Plobb! is a casual fun game, perfect for a short break. It features an original design and lots of extras, but enemies are sometimes too hard to get rid of.

This fun action game is based on the classic Asteroids but adds as many visual effects as possible thanks to the power of current graphic cards.

The result is simply gorgeous: easy gameplay, lots of fun and really impressive graphics. As an extra, you can control the whole game with just your mouse (plus some good reflexes) so on the whole the game is a great pastime that you can enjoy completely for free.

Apart from eye-catching graphics, Echoes also features an attractive background soundtrack which adds the finishing touch to the game.

Never before has collecting mushrooms been this mildly entertaining. At least not in outer space. It's more of a lifestyle than a game, really. Now with graphics and sound, too!

This game is something like a space-flying-mushroom-picking-simulator. Well no, "Those Funny Funguloids!" is actually a nice little piece of entertainment. You collect mushrooms, bring them back to your home base and profit! That's the basic idea in a nutshell. It has smooth, appealing 3d graphics and nice atmospheric sound effects.

Gameplay and rules are the same as the classic: you control a space garbageship patrolling the Galaxy. Your aim is to shoot all the asteroids located in your sector. When you shoot bigger asteroids, they break down into smaller parts, which are then broken into even smaller ones. After all the asteroids in the given sector are shot down, your garbageship warps to the next sector.

Disasteroids 3D is a 'research project' to learn how to write a simple game using Visual Studio and OpenGL. The rough game was playable in less than a week, and since that time cool effects have been added to make the game more polished.
