The game takes the old classic and puts it into a psychodelic liquid enviroment, adding the colour and graphics that the original so desperately lacked.

Plasma Pong plays very much like the version we know and love, only this time the ball is replaced by a wad of goo.

This means that the 'ball' acts more sensitively and it can be difficult to gain any kind of control over it to start with.

You'll need plenty of practice too, because things get even trickier as you progress through the levels. To help you though, it's possible to right-click on the paddle to hold the blob until you pick the right point to fire it.

]]> <![CDATA[Space Ping Pong-Remake of the classic Pong Arcade Game]]> Just when you thought another variation on Pong! wasn't possible comes Space Ping Pong - a psychedelic space-age version of the classic game.

Space Ping Pong is basically Pong! with psychedelic music, weird and wonderful graphics but with the same addictive gameplay. There are two modes of gameplay - against the computer or against a friend although you both have to use the same keyboard.

In this demo version, the maximum you can score in one strike is 7 points. The graphics basically look a more blurry of the original Pong! but the gameplay is virtually identical except there's a few added sound effects. The problem is it doesn't really add anything to the original except some slightly more colourful graphics.

Space Ping Pong is probably only appealing for all those hardcore Pong! fans that just can't get enough.
