The story and the eerie atmosphere make this game enjoyable, and we liked how you can move around the different rooms, show as polaroids in your notebook, even if you haven't found all the clues. G.H.O.S.T. Hunters can get a bit repetitive after a while and we also noticed that the game had a tendency to lag every now and then.

The game offers 55 different levels of varying difficulty, with more elements and pegs being added as you advance. Your aim is not only to eliminate all the orange pegs and bricks but also hope that your ball falls into the moving basket a the bottom, to collect more points and free balls.

When you hit your last peg, the game will switch to slow motion mode and zoom in on the action, until your ball hits the peg, releasing stars and rainbows, in what it calls 'extreme fever'. This is when you'll be able to collect more points. You can also use the instant replay function any time during play to review your last shot.

For the more experienced, Peggle Deluxe also includes 75 Grand Master Challenges which will take many hours to get through.

The game offers beautiful graphics and animations and a pleasant music and sounds.

Magic Academy aims to provide you with the chance to act out your these fantasies by sending you to wizard school where you’ll have to learn the ropes in order to find your missing sister.

Moving through the game is a matter of meeting various characters and solving the puzzles they set you in order to garner information before moving onto the next character.

While most of these puzzles involve simply finding items on a screen or solving spot-the-difference games, the developer has been careful to make these as lively as possible.

We liked the way that you’re not just given a list of things to find, and instead must work out what to find based on silhouettes of the objects, find items before the next ones are revealed, or find several of a particular item, such as mice, keys or documents.

There’s no doubt that the game requires a very sharp eye, so it may not be suitable for younger children or people whose eyesight is slightly poor .

However, there were only a couple of occasions where we needed to restart a level.

The characters are graphically impressive (including one of your character's sister’s friends who bares an uncanny resemblance to a certain bespectacled teenage wizard), although the interaction with them is limited.

There are no voices and conversations are limited to clicking through preset statements. We didn’t like the way they kept referring to us as ‘Annie, ’ and given that you have to enter your name before you play, it would have nice if it was your name that was used in the conversations.

However, Magic Academy is by far one of the best hidden-object style games we’ve played, providing challenging gameplay within a well-crafted environment.

If you feel like you're often distracted or unable to concentrate, you're not alone. Nor do you have to get frustrated or just learn to deal with it for the rest of your days. Brain Workshop, much like many other brain training PC games, can help get you out of that distraction-laden rut.

Brain Workshop is a simple game of memory, not all that different from the classic game Snap. You're presented with a 9 block game board of sorts and asked to remember the order in which squares appear in each individual box. Unlike Snap though, there's an additional element that makes Brain Workshop even more difficult. On top of having to remember what order the square appear in, you also need to memorize letters that go with each square that are spoken verbally to you when you play Brain Workshop.

When the sequence is repeated a second time, users must click the letter "A" on your keyboard, the letter "L" or neither. Click "A" when the squares presented are identical to the sequence you saw in the first set. Clicking "L" means that the sound of the letter you heard is in the right sequence, although the square might not necessarily coincide with it. The point of these games in Brain Workshop is to help improve your memory recall over a period of time.

Brain Workshop is challenging but can be a little confusing at the get-go to learn how to play. Unfortunately, the game doesn't have a built-in tutorial so when you click to get help, you'll be sent to the developer's website to read the tutorial there. This can get annoying for many users. There also appears to be an interface problem where other programs you have running underneath Brain Workshop might end up appearing through the game's interface, which can get irritating too.

This is the case of Puzzle Quest Galactrix, a game that mixes the addictive gameplay of classic Bejeweled-style puzzles with elements of role-playing adventures, strategy and even science fiction. The basic game consists of solving puzzles by dragging and dropping colored pieces so that you get a minimum of three of the same color together and make them disappear from the screen. The more pieces that disappear at the same time, the higher your score will be.

The difference is that in Puzzle Quest Galactrix, those puzzles are battles against the enemy, played by a human opponent or controlled by the computer. These battles are part of the game's Story mode, in which you are assigned missions, engage in battles, win new equipment for your ship and learn new skills.

Puzzle Quest Galactrix is innovative, in the sense that it makes of a classic puzzle a completely different game. However, true puzzle fans may find all those extra elements a bit distracting. Also, I have to say graphics were not as good as I'd hoped for.

Puzzle Quest Galactrix is an unique blend of puzzle, RPG and strategy elements in a sci-fi themed game.

For example, the numbers marathon challenge gives you five full pages of tiny numbers set up in columns and rows. It's your goal to memorize the sequence they're in within a minute. Then it's up to you to recreate the numerical grid with as much accuracy as possible. The first few times you give Memoriad Simulator's challenges a try, the chances are that you'll score really badly. The more you work on it though, the more your memory should improve.

Unfortunately, since there are no varying levels of difficulty, Memoriad Simulator beginners will sometimes be bombarded with an overwhelming amount of information to memorize that more advanced users might not be as concerned about. The "concentration period" time can also initially be a little confusing, making users wonder why they're only seeing a timer with no game board. Once you realize Memoriad Simulator's initial countdown is just for your to collect your bearings before the challenge actually starts though, you should be ready to start memorizing with gusto.

Memoriad Simulator is a fantastic way to improve your memory if you don't let yourself get overwhelmed in the beginning.

Once you've decided on your holiday of choice, Fishdom: Seasons Under the Sea asks you to pick a game mode. The "relaxed" option allows you to play the game puzzles without being timed. If you really want a challenge, choose Fishdom: Seasons Under the Sea's "against the clock" option instead.

Fishdom: Seasons Under the Sea will subsequently bring you to your aquarium screen. From there, you can see what types of accessories and animals you can add to your aquarium. Available categories are fish, beauty, and comfort. By clicking on the different types of fish available to purchase for your aquarium, you can read some quick facts about each one. The beauty category allows you to choose plant life for your aquarium, many of which are holiday themed. Lastly, the comfort category is where you can get items like castles and decorated water filtration systems.

In order to be able to purchase any of these aquarium add-ons, you need to win Fishdom: Seasons Under the Sea's various puzzle levels. The goal is to align three or more boxes that have identical markers. Every time you do, the boxes disappear and you earn cash toward aquarium purchases. Some of the boxes are gold, and it is these you must eliminate entirely in order to win a given level. Each level in Fishdom: Seasons Under the Sea also comes with certain bonuses that are explained the first time they appear.

Once you've earned some Fishdom: Seasons Under the Sea money, start setting up your aquarium. Every time you make a purchase in one of the three categories, gauges in the upper right hand corner of your screen increase. Once you get each one full, you unlock further aquatic goodies.

Fishdom: Seasons Under the Sea also allows you to save pictures of your aquarium. You can also set it up as a screen saver.

The only minor annoyance crops up while playing the games in Fishdom: Seasons Under the Sea's "relaxed" mode. If you wait too long to make a move, arrows appear to give you suggestions. If you're truly stuck, this is helpful. If you just want to sit back and take your time making strategic moves, however, this option can quickly become annoying.

Fishdom: Seasons Under the Sea is a fun game if you like fish and want to get into the holiday spirit.
