Nevertheless, it is very lightweight, easy to use and doesn't slow down your PC while changing wallpapers. You have some limited control over how your wallpaper in changed. You can set the program to random mode or "one-by-one". Random obviously means that wallpapers are picked to appear in a random order while "one-by-one" selects them in the order of your choice. When a wallpaper has changed, the program settings automatically pop up from the taskbar which can be annoying but it disappears after a few seconds if you don't use it.

Overall, this is a simple and useful program for anyone who gets bored of their wallpaper on a regular basis.

If you're tired of always having the same wallpaper – and tired of looking for more as well – then Desktoptopia is just the application you need.

Being a massive football fan, I'm really looking forward to the forthcoming Euro 2008 Championships, which take place in Austria and Switzerland in June.

The tournament looks set to be a real cracker and what better way to prepare for the footy-fest than by downloading the official wallpaper of the championships? Its design is stylish yet conservative. It's basically a blue background with a couple of large but subtle icons on it. The Euro 2008 logo is displayed in the upper right-hand corner of the picture and there's an ad for the official website on the left of the screen.

It makes for a good background, as there's not too much going on and few colors used, meaning that your desktop items are still clearly visible. I guess the only thing that lets it down for me is the fact that there is no football imagery on it. Perhaps it would've been nice to see a photo of one of the stars of the tournament on there.

Nevertheless, if you're getting excited about the forthcoming tournament I'm sure you'll like this one.

I know George W gets a bit of a bad press these days, but some people believe he has done a good job as President. If you're one of them, then you're sure to like this desktop background featuring the man himself.

The wallpaper features a high-res shot of Bush Jr debating in front of Mount Rushmore, making for quite an iconic image. The picture is very clear and the colours are a perfect desktop compliment. The only thing I would point out is that George is perhaps a little too far to the left in the shot, meaning it's easy for your icons to obscure him.

Everyone's wondering who will be the person to succeed George Bush as the next US President. If Senator John McCain ends up replacing Mr Popular he will become the oldest leader of the country ever.
