3D Tropical Aquarium Screensaver is a truly colourful - and even interactive - screensaver that allows you to enjoy all the beauty of the deep blue sea on your desktop.

This is one of the most realistic tropical aquarium screensavers out there. The fish are stunning in details and colour and the movements incredibly realistic. What I really like about it however is that it responds whenever you tap your screen (with a virtual hand) like a real tank. The fish will dart off giving you the impression that they've either seen or heard you. I also like the fact that you can feed them and generally have much more fun than your average aquarium screensaver. If you get bored, don't fret either as you can download extra tropical fish from the developer website as well as change the background that your fish are swimming in. The most soothing part is the sound of the oxygen bubbles as they circulate around the tank although this can also be annoying after a while so you can turn it off.

All in all, this is an excellent screensaver that holds your interest a lot longer than most similar efforts.

My sister loves cats. She's got four or five of them and she treats them just like her own children. I'm sure she and other cat lovers like her are going to love this screensaver.

Cat Licking Screensaver could be defined as the sequel of Screen Clean Screensaver, where a not very good-looking dog carefully cleaned your screen with its tongue. Now this cute cat is in charge of the same task and licks the whole screen without leaving a single area untouched.

The screensaver is very easy to install and features a simple settings menu where you can disable the licking sound if you don't like it. Even mute, the images are still very funny to see and the cat looks very realistic, although there's only one model included and no option to choose among several cats. Anyway, maybe it's because I prefer cats to dogs, but I like this screensaver better than the dog one.

3D Earth Screensaver is more than just a standard screensaver with some nice space imagery.

This screensaver makes you feel like you're flying through space. You can move from one point to another, zoom in or zoom out and learn more about our planet thanks to the screensaver's layers that include time zones, flags, borders and other details. Just one thing: don't expect to reach street level. This is not Google Earth.

On the downside, I didn't like having icons and text boxes displayed on the image in demo mode. I would have preferred to just have the gorgeous image of our blueish home: Earth.

It may not be as accurate as Google Earth, but 3D Earth Screensaver delivers beautiful images of our planet while you're away from your computer.

The screen is probably the dirtiest component in your computer. Dust, fingerprints and other elements conspire against you and your efforts to keep it clean.

If you're the sort of person who is easily fascinated by nature then you'll enjoy this National Geographic Extreme Earth Screensaver.

The screensaver contains a series of images the feature some of the most incredible landscapes and scenes from our planet. It covers extremes from the caves of Alaska, to the coves of Belize, and from Icelandic volcanoes to Antarctic ice flows. Be warned though, that these are mainly shots of rocks and landscapes rather than creatures, so animal fans may want to try a different screensaver.

The quality of the photography in the National Geographic Extreme Earth Screensaver is exceptional and the high resolution images really give you the impression that you're looking through a window onto this awesome world of ours.

On the downside, you have to put up with National Geographic branding on all of the images, and there is no options menu for customizing the screensaver.

On the whole though, the National Geographic Extreme Earth Screensaver will give your desktop a very eye-catching overhaul.

If you can't afford a real aquarium and all its equipment, you can at least install this virtual aquarium and enjoy the view from your computer chair.

Crawler 3D Marine Aquarium Screensaver displays a complete aquarium while you're not using the PC, turning your monitor into a tank full of sea creatures. You can choose between several aquariums and also download new fish species.

I especially liked the fact that 3D Marine Aquarium Screensaver displays some information about each kind of animal that appears on the screen; it makes the screensaver not only attractive but also informative. On the downside, you can't remove some items like the calendar or the search field, which I personally found kind of annoying.

With Crawler 3D Marine Aquarium Screensaver you can enjoy a realistic aquarium in your PC. It's a shame some elements can't be removed from the screen.

One way to make your favourite photos more special is to turn them into screensavers. My Screensaver Maker allows you to create a slideshow screensaver based on your favourite photos. Not only that, but it allows you to create a screensaver setup file which you can send to friends and allow them to enjoy the screensaver you've made for them.

Unfortunately, it only supports BMP and JPEG image files although if you want to add a soundtrack, it includes support for WAV, WMA, Mp3's. Once you've loaded your pictures into the interface, there are more than 120 transitional effects. You simply drag and drop images and flash animations into your screensaver sequence. If you've got flash animation skills, you'll also be able to add them to give your screensavers an extra special look.

Once your screensaver is complete, you can output it into either an .EXE or a flash .SWF file. If you want it to be a video, you can turn it into AVI, MPEG, ASF and WMV. If you just want to create a single stand-alone screen saver for your PC only, you can create an .SCR file to add to your control panel.

This is a great tool and a lot of fun but it's a shame that it doesn't support a wider range of image formats as you may find you spend more time converting images than using the program.

View scheduled Star Alliance member airline flights in real time or accelerated mode to view movements over a 24 hour period.

The Star Alliance Screensaver has many features which can be accessed through the StarSaver Options dialogue box. In all modes, the Star Alliance Screensaver displays your computer time and the number of Star Alliance member airline scheduled flights in the air.

When installed, the Display Properties / Screen Saver / StarSaver options box is displayed. The default setting is accelerated. The Real Time setting will display random Star Alliance member airline flights around the world.

Additionally, projection can be selected as either Cylindrical or Mercator. Cylindrical shows the globe, including the poles, in cylindrical perspective, while Mercator flattens and concentrates on the populated areas of the globe.

The Star Alliance Screensaver options can be modified at any time by right clicking on your Windows desktop, selecting / Properties / Screensaver / Settings. Installing the Star Alliance Screensaver will also install the Star Alliance FlightLookup Auto Update Conduit.
