USB Disk 1.2.2-Turn your iPhone into a file storage device

http://usb-disk.en.softonic.com/iphone

With USB Disk app, you can use your iPhone or iPod touch like portable storage space for files of any type. Store, organize and view files within the app, and add them through iTunes.

Not being able to easily store files was an early complaint about iPhones, but that's changed now, and you can transfer anything to and from your iPhone using the File Sharing area in iTunes. USB Disk is a neat little file manager that allows you to create folders, move files around and even view them. You can display spreadsheets, Word files, video and audio and more, without problems.

USB Disk comes with a welcome document, which you'll need in order to learn the interface, which would otherwise be unclear. However, it's actually easy to use once you know how. Drag files into iTunes, and they'll appear in USB Disk.

You can tap the file to copy it to a clipboard, then paste it into another folder, deleting the original. This isn't quite as neat as dragging and dropping files in the iPhone, but given the limited screen real estate, USB Disk is actually a pretty good solution.

USB Disk is a great little tool for file storage on your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch. Once you've learned the controls, it becomes a really simple and well designed utility.

Download USB Disk 1.2.2 in Softonic

DropBox 2.1.4-Sync your files everywhere!

http://dropbox.en.softonic.com/iphone

Dropbox is an easy way to sync files between your iPhone and computer, allowing you to share and access your files remotely.

If you haven't used the desktop version before, Dropbox basically adds a special folder to your computer, and anything you put in it is uploaded to the web. This can then be accessed from anywhere else by the account owner. This iPhone version allows you to access your Dropbox files and also upload and share pictures and videos taken with the phone.

Dropbox's design is clean, but very functional. There is nothing fancy about it at all, which is a huge strength. It's immediately obvious how to use Dropbox, and the app is very user friendly. If you're not sure, there are plenty of included PDFs included in the app to get you going.

DropBox features a public folder, too. This is designed for files you want to share, and you can send friends or coworkers links that will take them directly to what you want to share. It's a really smooth and well thought-out system. The free account is limited to two gigabytes of online storage, but that's still a lot!

For keeping online file backups, sharing and just basic access to essential files on your computer, Dropbox for iPhone is absolutely fantastic.

Download DropBox 2.1.4 in Softonic

SkyDrive 2.1-Microsoft's 25GB cloud storage now on iOS

http://skydrive.en.softonic.com/iphone

Microsoft's SkyDrive for iOS lets you access the cloud storage system from your iPhone or iPad. It is limited compared to the web app, letting you upload photo and video, and most read-only most files.

SkyDrive has always had one big advantage - it offers 25 gigabytes of free storage space. You can store pretty much any file type you want in it, and create public, private, editable and read-only links to any file or folder. On iOS, this is more limited.

You can create folders, and upload photos or videos from your iOS device. You'll be able to view documents, and compatible music and video too. Crucially though, you cannot edit things like Word or Excel files. If you want to create and edit shared documents on iOS, Google Docs is a much better option.

SkyDrive lets you access your cloud-storage files, but little else, and really needs better editing and uploading features to become genuinely useful.

Download SkyDrive 2.1 in Softonic

Documents by Readdle 4.0.1 (iPad)-Manage your files in the cloud

http://documents-by-readdle.en.softonic.com/iphone

Documents by Readdle is an iPad app that lets you view and manage files from multiple cloud drive services.

If you use Dropbox, Box, iCloud, and Google Drive, it can be a bit of a pain to keep them all in sync. Documents by Readdle make it easy to manage files from these different services. You can view, download, and upload files to each service.

Documents by Readdle supports a variety of different formats. You can read PDFs, documents, spreadsheets, listen to music, and more. In our testing, PDFs loaded flawlessly and rendered quickly.

Performance is good but not great. Some files take a long time to download but that depends on your connection. There were some stability problems with the app that we noticed during testing. Documents by Readdle would crash if you navigated around the interface without letting everything load completely.

The biggest drawback of Documents by Readdle is its inability to move files between services directly in the app. You still could move a file but it will require you downloading the file and then uploading it to the service you want.

Overall, Documents by Readdle is a great cloud file manager but could use some more features and stability improvements.

Download Documents by Readdle 4.0.1 (iPad) in Softonic
