Emsa Port Blocker 1.0.15 - TCP blocking utility and TCP viewer

Emsa Port Blocker is a TCP blocking utility. What it does, is blocking unwanted tcp access from/to your computer. It is not a firewall, but up to some extent it could be regarded as a similar tool. Its purpose is to prohibit TCP access on certain ports and ip addresses. IT can also be used as a TCP monitor because it shows TCP connections currently active on the machine.

This program works two ways. It can be configured to block access to certain local ports, but it can also prohibit access to specified remote ports as well. For example, you may try adding the port '80' to remote blocked ports. You'll immediately notice that you have disabled your browser's capability from accessing the www. You can use this program to block unauthorized access to certain ports on your computer, for example network ports like TCP 135 or 139 and so on. You can also use the configuration to permit connections between local IP's, or block even those as desired. The program comes with a function allowing to detect local ip's and adding them to the 'allowed' IP list.

NetBrute Scanner Suite 1.0.0.9 - Free suite of three network security tools

NetBrute Scanner Suite gives you the following three tools.

NetBrute allows you to scan a single computer or multiple IP addresses for available Windows File & Print Sharing resources. This is probably one of the most dangerous and easily exploitable security holes. It is common for your novice users to have their printers or their entire hard drive shared without being aware of it. This utility will help you to find these resources, so you can secure them with a firewall or by informing your users how to properly configure their shares with tighter security.

PortScan allows you to scan a single computer or multiple IP addresses for available Internet services. This will allow you to identify which TCP ports need to be blocked by your firewall, if you wish to secure them. Or it will allow you to identify unused services that are running, so they can be stopped.

WebBrute will allow you to scan your web directories that are protected with HTTP authentication, testing the security strength of your users' passwords. This will allow you to better enforce your password maintenance policies to ensure that your users are not using easily guessed passwords, or passwords that match their username.

AntiScanner 1.0.6 - Freeware software to check for security vulnerabilities in your network

PORT scanning is a popular way for hackers to look for security weaknesses on thousands of computers connected to the Internet. Your computer has probably been scanned at one time or another - without you knowing it. This is especially true if you have a dedicated connection. The chances of your computer being infiltrated are actually pretty small, but it’s still not a comforting thought.

AntiScanner is a specialized security application that monitors your computer for port scanning. While the program resides quietly from the system tray, it’ll listen on any number of specified ports. AntiScanner won’t automatically monitor tens of thousands of ports on your computer, so you’ll have to enter them manually.

When scanning has been detected, the program can instantly disconnect your computer from the Internet. It can even send a customized message back to the scanner’s computer. In addition, AntiScanner logs every unauthorised attempt to gain access to your computer. The log may be viewed from within the program’s small interface, and then saved as a plain text file for future reference.
