JetPhoto Studio will import pictures from your camera as soon as it is connected to your PC. We like how the main interface includes a calendar to let you browse photos by date. Jet Photo Studio has fairly basic editing tools, and functions like crop, sepia, black and white, image contrast, and auto enhancing, which will allow you to personalize your photos. You can also batch resize your photos and protect them with a watermark. JetPhoto Studio also allows you to rate photos by adding a star next to the ones you prefer. You can set tags to quickly identify related pictures, but annoyingly you’ll have to create new ones for each individual album.

Making screensavers, wallpapers and slide-shows is extremely easy and quick. You can also create two types of Flash movies, stand-alone or deluxe, the first being a typical slide show, and the second showing an animated thumbnail list of your selected images. The only downside is that you can’t set the types of animations and speed of transitions.

You can use JetPhoto Studio to send images, via MMS or infrared, to your friends’ mobiles, yet however exciting this sounds, the feature is not really up to standards. You’ll actually need to know your friend’s mobile brand and exact model and even if you do, there’s no telling whether the service will work in your country. We found that JetPhoto Studio did not support this feature in Spain. Another promising feature is locating photos thanks to GPS and tagging them on Google Earth.

JetPhoto Studio also allows you to quickly upload images to the online photo sharing service Flickr, and it’s very easy to order quality printed copies via PrintExpress. The JetPhoto Server tool is also a good way for anybody with some scripting knowledge to upload and edit their photo albums onto their weblog or personal website.

Jet Photo Studio lets you manipulate photos in all sorts of ways, however some of its functions are not up to standards.

It's not easy introducing a new mail client. If people aren't already using mail.app, they'll be perfectly happy with webmail. The company that brought QuickMail, brings Outspring, a smart mail client, to beat the competition.

You can expect the typical mail features in Outspring Mail, including POP/IMAP, SMTP and SSL support, handling of drafts and templates, the ability to create smart mailboxes and keep separate accounts. Outspring Mail also includes a search function at the top right and a solid spam filter to keep your mailbox free of junk. The interface is quite similar to most mail clients although the icons could have been better designed.

Outspring has unique features that aim to make it smarter than other mail clients. The brain will learn from your actions and suggest similar ones to you in the future. However when we tested it it didn't seem to work properly all the time. We liked the 'message deferment' function to 'snooze' new incoming mail. Intelligent summary is supposed to be a smart way of showing a small review of new mail, however it turned out to be incoherent way too often.

The major drawback to Outspring is it's price. $95 is just too much to pay for a mail client, especially when you consider that Outspring still crashes every now and then. At such a price, you should expect something top of the range. Yet for free, you can already find excellent webmail clients or even work with a very solid mail.app.

The smart features certainly separate Outspring from the other mail clients. Unfortunately so does the excessively high price tag. Let's hope in the future Outspring becomes a bit more accessible.

iBiz's workday drawer is an easy way to see what you have done for the day and adjust start and end times for tasks.

Address Book Integration

Upon installation iBiz adds a group to Address Book of iBiz Clients. Drag and drop clients into this group in Address Book for them to appear in iBiz.

Estimates

Make estimates as easily as you make invoices using customizable templates. Click a button and send them as a PDF attachment using Mail or Entourage. Estimates are saved with the respective client for later access.

Job Event Groups

By popular demand, organize job events into groups for organization, easier navigation and nicer looking invoices.

Every minute counts. Let iBiz keep track of them and you can round them. New system menu allows quick and easy switching of timers between clients.
