Octopod for C++ 3.2 3.2

The Octopod for C/C++ is a completely visual RAD tool for Windows operating systems. The natural, drag-drop graphical environment is similar to the Visual Basic and Delphi.

The graphical designer supports Windows intrinsic controls as well as ActiveX controls. Version 3. 1 includes the support for BORLAND compiler, special wizard for Windows NT/2000 service programs and adds a number of enhancements of the IDE.

The Octopod editor introduces a new technology called CodeToolbox that allows developer to drag a snippet (small piece of source code) from the special `toolbox` directly into the code (thus emulating the visual way of creating the user interface).

The snippet is then written into the source code. In addition, the code editor has syntax highlighting; member and function listing while-your-type; online help for the function parameters and intelligent help sensing.

The IDE itself can compile the programs using four major compilers: MSVC, CYGNUS` CYGWIN, MINGW GCC and BORLAND. All compilers include easy-to-use project property dialog allowing individual compiler and linker settings.

The Octopod comes with the thin Win32 framework that has a strong support for COM/ActiveX technology. Using and making the ActiveX servers is greatly simplified using number of wizards, and it is implemented under all compilers.

Download Octopod for C++ 3.2 3.2 in Softonic

SelfImage 1.2.1

SelfImage is a utility that allows you to create images of hard drives or partitions. It's easy enough to use for beginners but features powerful functions normally only found in programs such as <taglink type="program" country="en" id="46034">Norton Ghost</taglink>.

SelfImage is an excellent solution for anyone trying to create a dual-boot system, as you can create an image backup of a Linux partition directly from Windows. You can create an image of an entire hard disk, including the master boot record, partition table, and all partitions as well as restore previously created images to any partition, even mounted ones, as long as it doesn't have open files.

SelfImage is also specially adapted to take advantage of superfast processors such as multi-core processors. It performs on-the-fly compression, making this a particularly fast way to create images. For network administrators, there's also a useful Network Block Device support to make images of disks on remote machines, and restore them again.

Considering all this is free and released under an open source license, SelfImage is incredibly impressive when compared to products that perform a similar job.

SelfImage is a powerful free solution for making partition or drive image.

Download SelfImage 1.2.1 in Softonic
