In this game, you play the role of a janitor named Pozzo who works for a jello restaurant.

His dream is to save enough money to escape the hell he finds himself in but unfortunately his manager has found out that the local health inspector is dropping by for an unscheduled check. Your task is to clean up the entire premises of rotten jellos but here's the catch - Pozzo has no limbs and can't help eating all the jello he finds (I told you it was weird).

Pozzo cannot retrace his steps once he has eaten jellos off a tile which is about the only little "challenge" that the game seems to offer. However, the levels are quite imaginative even if the graphics certainly are not. New blocks and tiles appear from time to time which attempt to block Pozzo's way. In later levels, you have to be much more careful about the routes you take as the pitfalls grow deeper.

Poor graphics and a dodgy soundtrack combined with a bizarre concept make Pozzo - Jello Crusade one of the more unusual and less satisfying puzzle games out there.

Download Pozzo - Jello Crusade in Softonic

MSD Tasks Multiuser is a graphics work planner that allows you to visually schedule work tasks. The difference between this and the standard MSD Tasks program is that this version allows several users to share information in a local area network with user access control. It's great for bosses, managers and staff that need to collaborate, organise a rota or working schedule. The program can be used as an electronic appointment calendar, administer customer contacts or help project manager when organizing the activities of a team.

The developers assure that security is guaranteed as all data can be protected and encrypted by password. You can assign it to automatically manage work order numbers and print work order reports. All the records in the program can contain an unlimited history meaning you need never lose another rota or shift pattern.

The software is basically based on two concepts - the working groups on one hand and their tasks on the other hand. It does not however play a role as to whether a team works together on a project or individual coworkers separate tasks. The progress of individual projects can be pursued in detail and so in a glance, you can see how well a team is doing. All data is presented in graphical form and to leave despite innumerable factors clearly to present itself.

MSD Tasks Multiuser is a great tool for those that have to manage sizable teams or want to find a better way of tracking employee progress.

Download MSD Organizer Multiuser 9.10 in Softonic

Most good PCs and laptops have a fan which automatically controls overheating and regulates temperature but this is not always 100% reliable, especially when you've got lots of external devices connected. The good thing about HWMonitor is that it gives you an instant overview of your PC's vital power and heat stats while at the same time, remaining very light and not adding to the problem. In fact, it doesn't require any installation at all and can be run simply from the .EXE file. The program does not copy any files into the directory or edit the registry in any way. The program probably shows you far more stats that it needs to in reality - I mean, who really needs to know the temperature of their graphics card? It would have been useful if the program had included some kind of basic and advanced view to prevent you getting overwhelmed with data but at least the info is there if you really need it.

If you're worried that you're fan is not doing it's job properly or your PC is getting disconcertingly hot, then HWMonitor is the ultimate monitoring tool.

Download HWMonitor 1.11 in Softonic

Plan your work for better results

Make weekly and daily plans using the schedule. You can create "project blocks" to get important work done, and schedule other meetings, appointments, and activities. The weekly planning wizard software tool helps you plan your week, or you can do it yourself using drag and drop. You can also sketch out your ideal week by allocating time for different activity zones like health & fitness, finances, and family time.

Capture, organize, and manage your tasks and projects

Achieve Planner personal time management software provides a central location to keep track of everything you are working on and need to get done. It uses hierarchical (multi-level) outlines, which means you can break up large items into smaller steps using as many levels as you need. Separating projects and tasks gives you a smaller, more manageable and effective to-do list.

Set priorities to make the best use of your time

Too much to do and not enough time? Achieve Planner supports the ABCD prioritization system to help you spend more time on what is most important and valuable. Prioritizing your to-do list with our personal time management software helps you do less and accomplish more by using the 80/20 rule.

Get a better sense of when your work will be completed

Personal task management is easier when you can plan your projects in greater detail by tracking effort estimates for tasks and recording your actual work. Achieve Planner Pro automatically computes the start/end dates for all your projects/tasks based on your effort estimates, priorities, and schedule. Learn more. If you use Microsoft Outlook (XP/2003), you can keep your tasks and appointments synchronized with your plans.
Unusually, the Chinese have decided to go for several mascots instead of one known as "Fuya". Each of the 5 mascots (to symbolize the 5 Olympic rings) mascot is pictured in a different pose, outfit and color. Fuwa also apparently embody the natural characteristics of four of China's most popular animals - the Fish, the Panda, the Tibetan Antelope, the Swallow - and the Olympic Flame. The mascots are Beibei (gentle and pure), Jingjing (makes children smile), Huanhuan (symbolising fire and the passion of sport), Yingying (swift as an antelope symbolizing China's landscape) and Nini (joyful and innocent as a swallow).

In this Beijing Olympics mascot themed screensaver you've got Yingying who is fast and agile and can swiftly cover great stretches of land as he races across the earth according to the organisers. He is a symbol of the vastness of China's landscape and twinned with the antelope which the Chinese believe carries the blessing of health and the strength of body that comes from harmony with nature. His head ornament incorporates several decorative styles from the Qinghai-Tibet and Sinkiang cultures and the ethnic design traditions of Western China. Strong in track and field events, Yingying is a quick-witted and agile boy who represents the yellow Olympic ring.

Get into the Olympic mood as these fun mascots jump out and grab you in celebrating the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

Download Beijing Olympics Wallpaper 4 Yingying in Softonic

HDD Observer is an intelligent tool that shows you what the health of your units is using the patented SMART technology that all modern hard drives now support. It allows you to check your hard drives performance at regular intervals and it also gauges the temperature of your unit. For example, if HDD temperature is near its critical value then HDD Observer begins to check it more frequently to exactly detect the time when the temperature will reach it's critical value. If the critical value is reached, then HDD Observer will check HDD's with a lower temperature to free-up any available system resources. In this way, you are spreading the load across your hard drives rather than just one. It allows you to set alerts when you're running out of disk space or when you've accumulated too many temporary files. If you're using several drives, the program can also employ a desfragmenter and registry cleaner across all of them as well as an option to clean those registry entries that are obsolete or dangerous to your system's stability.

Easy to use and a much more intelligent way to use your hard drives, HDD Observer is a great SMART choice.

Download HDD Observer 2.4 in Softonic

If your hard drive supports SMART monitoring however, there is a way to constantly check the health of your hard drive to make sure you don't run the risk of disaster. Drive Health basically keeps you informed of any potentially dangerous hard drive degradations or irregular performance issues that could cause a failure. Drive Health carries out a series of attribute tests and diagnostics without really slowing down your PC. CPU usage is minimal and it can even be run simply as an NT service. It's estimated that mechanical failures account for around 60 percent of drive failures which is a significant number because they can be avoidable with some warning of impending doom usually indicated by the drive skipping or grinding while in operation. If you are suspicious that your drive is operating irregularly, or have noticed some random problems then Drive Health may help you diagnose the problem.

It doesn't support all hard drives but Drive Health is what all diagnostic tools should be - discreet, thorough and effective.

Download Drive Health 2.5.170 in Softonic

This complete set of tools contains pretty much everything you need to perform basic maintenance routines on your system and keep it in perfect shape. You'll find a junk file cleaner, a memory optimizer, a Registry cleaner, a PC analysis tool and a file shredder, among many others. There's even an anti-spyware tool to make sure your PC is safe and clean.

All tools in PC Health Optimizer are perfectly organized in different categories and presented in an attractive, nicely designed interface. All you have to do is browse the program's categories and select the one you want, which will open in a separate window. They're very easy to use but there's also a complete help section in case you need it.

PC Health Optimizer may not include as many maintenance tools as other commercial apps, and also lacks advanced features – such as, for example, the ability to schedule tasks – but it's really a great choice for an unbeatable price.

CrystalDiskInfo is a hard-disk health monitoring utility. It displays basic HDD information, monitors S.M.A.R.T. values and disk temperature.

You don’t have to do anything apart from running the program in order to have a health status report, stating temperature level, error rate, spin-up time and lots of other information which might be useful to know, especially for tech-savvy users. Even if you are not one of those, you might still find it cheerful to see written in a glossy blue box that your hard disk status is ‘Good’.

If only you could know your daily calorie allowance, you would know approximately if that sweet indulgence would fit in or not.

MB Calorie Calculator, is an application that calculates your daily calorie need, based on your age, sex, height and weight. You can choose to insert the data either in meter or inches and kilograms or pounds. To be honest, at least for the height, it’s better if you enter the value in pounds because I think the program has some problems with kilograms: you can only select a value from one to ten butwhat should I enter if I’m 184cm tall? Once set, the program asks you about your life style and precisely about your daily activity, which can be sedentary, light, moderate or high activity. Now press the ‘calculate my required calories’ button to unveil the number which will tell you whether to feel guilty or not about the desert.

MB Heart Attack Risk Calculator 1.10

MB Heart Attack Risk Calculator is meant to calculate your risk of suffering from a heart attack in the next 10 years and provides the result as a percentage.

The interface is quite ugly although in this case it’s not so important, although it may cause some surprise when you see it.The program starts by asking you your age. If you are below 30 years-old, you can’t proceed unfortunately. This program is just for an audience that is over 30 andthere should be a warning somewhere when you download it.
Anyway, the following question is about your systolic blood pressure. I know the vast majority of you don’t know what this is, but I’m sure if you had your blood tested, there will be a value between 98 and 186 referring to this. Enter your cholesterol level, which should be between 139 and 331 and specify the HDL, the good cholesterol. That’s all you have to insert to know the probability of having a heart attack in the next 10 years, expressed as a percentage.

I think a couple of other questions should have been added in the test. If you are a woman under HRT, hormonal replacement therapy, for example the probability of having a heart attack rises a lot especially when combined with smoking. Also, everyone consuming hydrogenated fats increases considerably their probability of having a heart attack.

If you recently had your blood tested and you want to calculate how healthy your system is, enter the required figures in this software to gain a quick result on your probability of staying healthy for the next 10 years.

Download MB Heart Attack Risk Calculator 1.10 in Softonic

I was at first intrigued by the name of this application, hoping to find many useful information and advices on how to conduct a more natural and healthier lifestyle. Unfortunately, this program doesn’t include much in the way of multimedia and it’s nothing more than a basic database of text contents.

The general graphics of Natural Healing have clearly not been designed to be in any way relaxing and the way topics are organised is also unclear. In the shareware version though, you are not able to read that much of the contents, as you will often find a message telling you to register instead of leaving you trying the database to see if it’s worth buying it.

The only section I have found of useful was the ‘Afflictions’ one, where you have a list of diseases in alphabetical order with their definitions at the bottom and on the side, offering interesting information about herbal remedies and Vitamins/Minerals you can take, and also a Homeopathy, Pharmaceutical and ‘grandmother’ section to know every possible cure method available. The program also suggests you yoga positions that are supposed to help in certain conditions. Again, it would have been much more useful if it had showed also how do practice these yoga exercises, otherwise you are left with nothing but a name.

Natural Healing is an encyclopaedia of natural remedies which can come handy if you don’t have an internet connection available. Unfortunately, it could have been a great resource with images, videos and animation; instead it’s no more than a textual database of illness and remedies.

Download Natural Healing 1.0 in Softonic

Windows XP Service Pack (SP3)

The latest Service Pack for XP is finally here and it includes some minor but important updates for Windows users.

Windows® XP Service Pack 3 (SP3) includes all previously released updates for the operating system. However, this particular update only includes a small number of new functionalities, which do not significantly enhance the operating system. Amongst these updates are features such as an updated Microsoft Management Console 3.0 (which already appears in Windows Server 2008 and Vista) and an update to Wifi protected access to make wireless surfing more secure.

There has also been added a “health checking” component that’s already used by Windows Server 2008 which can check to make sure that certain upgrades and security features are in place for XP-based clients before they are allowed to log onto a network.

Note that this Service Pack is valid for updates across the XP range including Windows XP, Windows XP Home Edition, Windows XP Home Edition N, Windows XP Media Center Edition, Windows XP Professional Edition, Windows XP Professional N, Windows XP Service Pack 1, Windows XP Service Pack 2, Windows XP Starter Edition and Windows XP Tablet PC Edition.

Download Service Pack 3 now to ensure that your version of XP is updated with the latest fixes and features for maximum functionality.

Download Windows XP Service Pack (SP3) in Softonic

Web Security Guard 5.1.0.99

As you're probably aware by now, there are lots of great web sites out there and loads of online content that can educate and enrich your life. Sometimes though accessing information online can be bad for your computer's health if the sites you visit contain or link to spyware, adware, spam and viruses.

Running Web Security Guard is like having your own personal digital bodyguard, warning you when the sites you visit might be dangerous and protecting you accordingly. On the face of it the program is just another toolbar in your browser, albeit a comprehensive one. You get lots of useful tools such as a multisearch, eBay search, travel pages, yellow pages, white pages, games, and so on.

You can also bolt on lots of common desktop tasks and applications such as an MP3 player, RSS reader, screensaver, weather information, word-checkers, evidence eliminators and pop-up blockers, making it a pretty comprehensive system.

However, where this program differs from most other browser toolbars is in its security features. The program uses a range of clever methods to help ensure that you stay safe when surfing the web. It offers customer reviews of sites and provides you with a description and threat rating of each site you visit, although these constant notifications can get annoying after a while.

If you're the kind of person who worries about the security of web sites then be sure to install Web Security Guard for complete peace of mind.

Download Web Security Guard 5.1.0.99 in Softonic

DriveSitter 1.6

DriveSitter is a full-featured HDD analyzer, health diagnostic and background monitoring tool for IDE hard disk drives based upon modern S.M.A.R.T. technology. It processes up to 30 health related attributes per HDD as well as the overall health status of the HDD and the HDD temperature simultaneously.

It reliably detects and forecasts up to 70% of all sudden HDD failures before they happen: You will be alerted of any unhealthy condition by various notification methods including emails, network messages and execution of user-defined files. This will give you precious time to save your data before HDD crashes occur!

Furthermore, DriveSitter collects a stock of past health attributes and estimates the remaining lifetime of each health related attribute (T.E.C. dates) by advanced statistical analysis that provide a minimum of false alarms. The stock of past health attributes can be visualized in time series graphs or analyzed by the means of descriptive statistics.

Moreover, DriveSitter displays up to 130 advanced HDD details, displays the HDD temperatures in the system tray and provides a polished graphical user interface, an extensive program help and much more!

Download DriveSitter 1.6 in Softonic

HDD Health 3.2.1234

Advanced warning of impending hardware doom could one day save you tearing your hair out at losing all your important data.

If you don't perform regular backups then I'd say it was essential that you use a tool like HDD Health. The program continually monitors your PC for tell tale signs that your hard drive is about to die due to corruption or plain and simple burn out. The program sits in your system tray and monitors the performance of your hard drive at regular intervals. It continually performs minor diagnostic tests to see if anything irregular is happening. The program utilises Self Monitoring and Reporting Technology (S.M.A.R.T.) however and unless your hard drive supports this (which most modern ones do) this program won't be of much use to you. The program issues alerts in the manner of your choosing - which basically means via email, pop-up messages (which can get rather annoying), net messages or event logging. It's very light on resources although the fact that it is continually working on your hard drive means that occasionally you might expect some slow down of your PC's operations.

A great tool for anyone who does not backup regularly and is worried about the heavy use of their hard drive

Download HDD Health 3.2.1234 in Softonic

UFO: Alien Invasion 2.2

Your aim in UFO: Alien Invasion is to fight the forces of evil in a world that has turned over a leaf in the next stage of it's evolution.

While war and famine have been virtually eradicated, one major threat remains hanging over mankind - the threat of alien invasion. UFO: Alien Invasion is a free game rich in background history and strategy. You have to lead a crack commando team to destroy and investigate the increasingly dangerous extraterrestrial technology which threatens to wipe out the human race. The game takes the shape of a strategy/shoot-em-up action based thriller which requires a certain amount of guile and map reading ability as well as a quick trigger finger. The missions are incredibly well thought out and rich in detail and although the graphics aren't exactly stunning, there are some excellent special effects. It's easy enough however to pick up pretty quickly although to get the most out of the game, you'll have to consult the Wiki which has extensive details of the how to play.

A very well designed and thought-out game that, considering it's completely free, will thrill any UFO enthusiast or strategy game fan.

Download UFO: Alien Invasion 2.2 in Softonic

Purrfect Pet Shop

If you're a pet lover and the thought of an innocent animal going to waste breaks your heart, you might like this game - at least for 10 minutes anyway.

You have to match pets desperate for a home with some owners desperate for a pet. You are given a series of clues from both sides that help you match the perfect pet with the perfect family. Apart from that, you can care for the animals in terms of giving them a bath, a hair cut, taking them for a walk or just giving them some much needed care and attention.

The problem is that the game is not hard enough. Although there are several levels, even the hardest levels isn't that challenging even for kids. The other problem is that the gameplay seems to repeat itself over and over until quite frankly, you lose sympathy with the poor pets and their problems. There are some mildly challenging aspects to the game that kids may enjoy more towards the mid levels but this is one that adults should probably give a wide berth. Other users have suggested Paradise Pet Salon and Fever Frenzy are much more fun in terms of playability and challenge.

In the plus-side, there are some cute graphics and the game at least follows a noble issue but unfortunately, it just doesn't deliver the goods in terms of gameplay.

Download Purrfect Pet Shop in Softonic
