UltraTorrent 2.0.0.4

UltraTorrent is a free torrent search and download tool that works with a dozen different search engines and manages downloads in a very simple way.

When using UltraTorrent, you'll be searching popular torrent sites such as Isohunt or Mininova. Results are displayed in a neatly organized table, and can be sorted by different parameters: name, size and seeds – so you can always choose the best option. Double clicking any of these files will immediately launch the downloader in UltraTorrent.

Currently active downloads in UltraTorrent are displayed under the Downloads tab, where you can organize them according to several different filters. If you select a file, you can see detailed information about it in the three panels at the bottom of the interface: General, Trackers and Files.

UltraTorrent is really simple to use and also very light on resources. It works with the most popular torrent search engines, provides quick results, and includes a built-in downloader that does what it is supposed to. With such a collection of handy features, you can just about forgive the fact that the program doesn't really have any extended configuration options.

With UltraTorrent you can search multiple Torrent sites at the same time and start downloading files in no time.

Download UltraTorrent 2.0.0.4 in Softonic

ted 0.9715

There are so many TV torrents now available that it's hard to keep track of your favorite ones especially long running series.

The problem I find is that all too often, you wait ages for a torrent to appear and then the minute you've lost interest, someone posts the exact torrent you were waiting for. Ted (Torrent Episode Downloader) provides the perfect solution if you're a TV torrent downloader and it supports all mainstream shows. Simply click "Add Torrent" and the list of possible shows, along with a synopsis and an option whether to download the Next Episode or Last Aired episode is revealed immediately. You can even opt to download only torrents in HD.

Ted uses RSS and Bittorrents to provide you with the latest episodes of your favorite shows. It relies on several torrent sites such as TorrentReactor, Mininova and TVRSS for new episodes of TV shows. To prevent ted automatically downloading fake torrents, you can add keywords for it to look for such as those of your favorite torrent packager or something that fakes usually don't have in their titles. This is also particularly useful if you don't want to keep downloading torrents in the wrong language.

You should note that ted should only be used for downloading those torrents that are legal. Some of the sites it uses - such as The Pirate Bay - have already had some of their content restricted due to legal reasons and so it must be used responsibly.

If you're tired of constantly checking or searching torrent sites for your favorite TV shows, ted provides an automatic stress-free way to do so.

Download ted 0.9715 in Softonic

Torenkey 1.0.0.30

Emule remains one of the most popular downloads in the world due to it's ease of use and the ability to share your files with millions of users worldwide.

However, it's not so good when it comes to handling torrents which is why TorenKey is an interesting innovation. To look at it, you'd think it was exactly the same as eMule which is no surprise - it's been made by the same developers and it even connects to the same eD2K network. Where it differs however is in it's ability to handle torrents with ease for high speed downloading. While giving you access to the ed2k network, it also harnesses the power of BitTorrent to provide a truly impressive torrent client so really it is two programs in one. In feel, use and look, it differs little from eMule and it even includes it's own IRC client. What does differ is the search system. TorenKey's search utility is linked to Mininova which means that you get a huge number of results back when you search for a certain torrent. However, it does seem that many of these are fakes and TorenKey provides no method for screening-out these files. In addition, you can't preview downloading torrents so there's no way of checking whether it's real or not that way either.

With support for RSS so you can keep track of the latest torrents and harnessing the look and feel of eMule, TorenKey has the potential to be a really successful torrent client.

Download Torenkey 1.0.0.30 in Softonic

TorrentForage 1.5

TorrentForage is a search tool that lets you browse and query several torrent sites at the same time, saving you work, time and extra typing.

The program is very simple both in design and functionality. There are no options, no extra tools, no settings menu: just a list of torrent sites and two text fields to enter the keywords for your search and some optional filters respectively. You can choose which search engines to use and which not, but apart from that, there's basically no other way to tweak the program's behavior.

Global results are presented using a color code, each color representing the results from each separate site, which is a nice way to categorize results. Double clicking on each entry will open your default web browser with the correspondent torrent site. From this moment on, that is, if you really want to download the file, you'll need a torrent client.

TorrentForage offers you an easier, faster way to search for torrent files, but it ends up being too simple. Some extra tools would have been nice.

Download TorrentForage 1.5 in Softonic
