If you look at your map, you should see the new Super Skyrim Brothers Abandoned House Map marker next to Winterhold. Just travel to the Abandoned House, enter it, and read the note you'll see on the table. It'll warn you not to sleep in the bed, but disregard it and go ahead and sleep in the bed anyway. A dream sequence will be initiated once you fall asleep, and you'll be able to access the mod that way.

Super Skyrim Bros will let you enter a new mini-Kingdom to play in Skyrim. The Super Skyrim Bros mod won't affect anything outside of that specific Kingdom, meaning brick blocks, question blocks, and Super Skyrim Bros enemies won't exist anywhere but in this specific world.

Project Giana is considered a derivative of The Great Giana Sisters, which was essentially a Super Mario Bros clone. This original PC release is expected to be followed by releases on Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network.

Based around the concept of a little girl stuck in a dream world, Project Giana lets you explore various worlds with beautiful graphics. You can bounce around to avoid opponents and obstacles in each level, as well as collect gems. Jumping on the heads of most enemies will defeat them.

Giana can switch between two appearances at will - either cute or more punky. Each form has its own abilities and vulnerabilities that go along with it. Whenever Giana transforms in Project Giana however, so does the appearance of the dream world. You can switch from a landscape made up of candy to something more nightmarish very quickly as a result. The music will change along with the scenery switch as well.

You can use an Xbox controller or just your mouse and keyboard to control Giana, although the latter is a bit clunky and difficult to maneuver. In this demo version of Project Giana, also note that your progress will not get saved should you die.

The graphics are what makes Project Giana stand out most, although gamers of all ages should find gameplay fun and challengeing.

Super Mario 3: Mario Forever remains faithful to the original Mario format and retains much of the gameplay although the controls aren't quite as fluid as the original which may take some getting used to. As you'd expect, there are lots of secret worlds to explore and the game difficulty increases significantly as you progress through the levels.

The range of enemies, scenarios and challenges is comparable with Super Mario and includes a final show-down with Bowser at the end of a world. There are a total of 50 worlds to play in including several bonus worlds (such as The lost Map, Hardcore World etc.) and even a secret level.

The all round accuracy and similarities with Super Mario make it clear Super Mario 3: Mario Forever was made by a true fan of the game. The main problem with Super Mario 3: Mario Forever however is that you can only save games when you complete a world - which can be really frustrating if you keep getting stuck at the same old bit - and some of the in-game features aren't as polished as the original.

Overall, Super Mario 3: Mario Forever is an excellent clone of Super Mario and will definitely appeal to fans of the game.

The protagonist of Abobo's Big Adventure is Abobo, one of the bosses from another popular NES game, Double Dragon. Ironically, Abobo sees his son get kidnapped by the thugs who protected him in other games.

Abobo's Big Adventure is, above all, a tribute to classic titles. You can trace its technical side to Super Mario Brothers, Double Dragon, Mega Man and The Legend of Zelda. The game unapologetically copies settings, characters and sounds. It's a respectful tribute too though, with good taste and all the necessary modern touches included.

The mechanics also remain anchored in the past. Abobo's Big Adventure is a combination of arcade games, platformers and other classical genres, but it also adds new elements such as special attacks, mini games and achievements to give it variety and enduring gameplay.

Abobo's Big Adventure is a great free game that brings back memories of simpler graphics and everyone's favorite older consoles.

Bomber Mario combines the best of both games to create a fun and free strategy game. As in the original Bomberman games, your task is to blow-up your enemies in a maze of explosives. Once you've strategically planted your bombs, and avoid being blown up yourself, you can move onto the next level.

Sounds simple but you must step carefully. One wrong turn or bomb trap and you can end up dead because of the Koopa Troopers who hunt you relentlessly. Bomber Mario is a lot of fun but unlike the original Bomberman, there's no multiplayer mode which is a shame as it would be a great game to play against a friend.

Bomber Mario doesn't really improve on the original Bomberman format but it's great for anyone that loved both the latter and Super Mario.

One of the great things about 80s platform games was the feeling of exploration, mystery and adventure. Treasure Adventure Game does a great job of recreating this with its unusual world, storyline and freedom. The game begins with your character traveling to find ancient artifacts with your father. Something happens, and what follows is a journey to find out what and why!

Treasure Adventure Game is really easy to play, with simple and obvious controls, and the retro graphics are accompanied by a great little soundtrack. The world of islands you explore have a day/night cycle and even occasionally weather, which really gives Treasure Adventure Game a lot of atmosphere.

While the characters in the game help you, and give you direction in the game, it can sometimes be difficult to work out what you should do or where you should go. It's very important to read and remember what characters say, otherwise you might get completely lost. Treasure Adventure Game moves forward by completion of quests you are given, and there's a surprising amount of freedom, and lots of secrets to find.

Conclusion

Like Cave Story, Treasure Adventure Game recaptures the magic of 8-bit gaming perfectly. It's hard to put your finger on what it is exactly that makes it compelling, but it draws you in to it's world, and you'll want to get to the end!

Along with Super Mario 3: Mario Forever, it's considered by fans to be one of the best Super Mario remakes around. The slight difference is that they makers of Super Mario World Deluxe haven't just cloned the Mario character - they've given this one a personality all of his own.

Super Mario World Deluxe follows the same type of gameplay and adventures as the original Super Mario series although it's clearly not as polished as the original and looks and plays a bit amateur in places. In addition, unlike Super Mario 3: Mario Forever, the controls are more like the original, so it's easier to get used to.

However, Super Mario World Deluxe's nowhere near as complete as the former or original. For example, there are only 5 levels to choose from (compared to 50 in Super Mario 3: Mario Forever) and the graphics aren't quite as faithful to the original.

Super Mario World Deluxe is still a great remake of the classic Super Mario series on the SNES.

Even if you're not a nostalgic, it's a fun way to make music by using airplanes, cars and characters from Super Mario Bros. You can create music only in MIDI but this simplicity and Mario theme makes it ideal for kids that just want to have some fun.

To create music, you simply insert characters along the timeline. The different characters represent different sounds in Mario Paint Composer. Images placed on top of the line are high notes and lower notes are placed on the bottom line. Some controls at the bottom give control over playback although they are mainly limited to basic commands and controlling the tempo.

Once you've completed experimenting, simply record your song. The results are very limited in MIDI and you can't export yout creations to play on anything other than Mario Paint Composer.
