Bigasoft Total Video Converter is a simple tool that will allow you to convert and make basic edits to your videos.

If you want to edit your video before converting, use the buttons along the top.
Bigasoft Total Video Converter supports a lot of video formats and can even be used to rip audio from videos you already have.
You can edit the settings for each format type via the Setting button – there are two views for this, Simple and Advanced, depending on your needs.
The editing tools are very simple – you can trim, crop and add a few special effects, but nothing very impressive.
Bigasoft Total Video Converter works fine, but it’s not very powerful or refined.
If you are looking for an occasional tool to convert your files, or need to make very infrequent, basic edits, it might do, but it’s hard to recommend as a go-to app.

Total Video Converter is a multi-format video converter, editor and player.

As video apps go, Total Video Converter handles bunches of formats. Not only can it convert between various file formats, it also can process videos for use on a multitude of mobile devices, for burning to DVD or uploading to the web. It also makes adding files for conversion very easy, with a nice, fluid drag & drop feature.

Total Video Converter is also loaded with extra tools. There’s a basic video editor, a player, screenshot tool, game recorder and more. All of these tools are available by clicking on the main interface and don’t need a separate download.

Unfortunately, Total Video Converter is not a pleasant piece of software to use. It feels rough and frequently crashes, especially when you try to use the video editing tools. It’s not very attractive, and the interface is buggy – sometimes the buttons don’t even show up correctly.

When Total Video Converter does work, it’s fast, but it’s just so buggy that it doesn’t seem worth the effort. It’s frustrating and unintuitive, and although the help documentation does seem complete, using the app is so exasperating that we’d be surprised if you even made it that far.

Total Video Converter supports bunches of formats, but it’s so buggy the fact is pretty much irrelevant.
