The career mode in GT Racing: Motor Academy HD borrows a lot from the format of Gran Turismo. You need to pass a series of tests and work your way up through the various divisions as you go for glory. There are upgrades available that help you improve your chances.

Graphically, GT Racing: Motor Academy HD is pretty good, with realistic animation and car designs, although the rendering of some of the real life courses is a little disappointing. The handling of the cars is good, and it won't take you long to get used to the control systems.

The purpose of Mine Sweeper Touch, as with the classic Windows version of the puzzle game, is to identify the location of all the mines on a grid. Tap a square on the grid to reveal it. You will either hit a bomb (in which case it's game over), a blank square, or a number. The number reveals how many mines are adjacent to that square.

If you think you've deduced where a mine is you flag it in Mine Sweeper Touch by long pressing on it. The number of mines you have flagged is shown at the bottom of the screen, so you know how many you've got left to look for (assuming your guesses are correct).

Mine Sweeper Touch is a fairly no-frills version of the Minesweeper game. There are three difficulty levels (10 mines, 15 mines or 20 mines) to choose, but apart from that there's nothing original that's been added to the original format, and the graphics are pretty basic.

That said, if you're a fan of Minesweeper on the PC, Mine Sweeper Touch is well worth downloading on your phone.

Solitaire Game is true to the orginal format - sort all your cards in sequence and alternating colors until all the cards have been turned over. Anyone who has played the game before will know that this is easier said than done. You'll have to use your powers of judgement to decide where to place cards, plus you'll need a bit of luck, too.

Playing Solitaire Game is done through the touchscreen, and you just need to hold and drag cards to move them into place. If you try to make an illegal move, the card will go shooting back to where it game from. The animation in Solitaire Game is very smooth and all of the graphical elements are very clean.

Unfortunately, the Nokia Solitaire Game is lacking a lot in options and settings. In fact, it doesn't really have any. So don't expect to be able to change rule sets, get hints, change the design of the deck, etc.

Nevertheless if you're looking for a simple way to enjoy a classic card game on your phone, Solitaire Game is worth installing.

Dodge This! is a primitive arcade challenge for Nokia phones. It's principally been designed to work with touchscreen devices, though it does support some non-touch models, where you use the directional buttons or number keys to control the action.

The object of Dodge This! is to steer your space craft away from the space rocks that come flying at you. The longer you can stay playing without getting hit, the higher up the high scores table you'll get.

Be warned that Dodge This! is a very simple game. The graphics aren't exactly out-of-this-world and the gameplay is limited to just moving a sprite up, down, left and right. There's no shooting, no power-ups, and only one level.

It's easy to play, and fun for a few minutes but Dodge This! won't distract you for too long.
