A new Facebook scam appears using soccer team Real Madrid

A new scam has appeared on Facebook. It claims to be an official Real Madrid page which promises you exclusive content related to the Spanish soccer team while trying to fool users into entering their Facebook login details.

Once you have entered your user details, you are redirected to Real Madrid’s official Facebook community page. However, in the meantime, your login details will have been taken by the scammers.

This scam again highlights how you should be very wary of websites that request your Facebook credentials. Make sure that sites you log into feature the secure “https” in the address.
