The Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs will go head to head on February 12 in the LVII edition of the Super Bowl, one of the most important sporting events in the world. Its broadcasting attracts more than 100 million viewers around the world, which makes the most important companies spend millions of dollars to broadcast their ads there.

The game, to be held at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, will feature the return of world-famous singer and businesswoman Rihanna for halftime entertainment. As expected, brands are fighting for a place in this space and they all want to be noticed.

New this year, Pepsi announced in May 2022 that it would stop sponsoring the halftime show, a slot that now belongs to Apple Music.

Other brands we will see appear during the Super Bowl include Warner Bros. Disovery, which will unveil the first trailer for The Flash, starring the controversial Ezra Miller and directed by Andy Muschietti. This will also be Warner’s first Super Bowl appearance since 2006. During that year, the films 16 Blocks, V for Vendetta and Poseidon were presented.

On the other hand, the PopCorners (new Frito Lays potato chips) will see the light during the event with an ad that rescues the mythical Breaking Bad series. Yes, as you can hear: Heisenberg and Jesse will be back to advertise potato chips. On the other hand, there will also be KIA, the only car brand confirmed for the moment.

The popular chocolate brand M&M’s will also make an appearance during the Super Bowl with a short spot of only 30 seconds. Pringles is also joining the event and the duration of its spot will be the same as M&M’s. Classic rock lovers will enjoy the presence of Ozzy Osbourne, Joan Jett and Gary Clark Jr. in an ad directed by software company Workday. Finally, the famous mayonnaise brand Hellmann’s will be present with a short spot for the third consecutive year. However, its intervention will focus on the reduction of food waste.

On the other hand, due to the celebration of the Super Bowl, the fifth chapter of The Last Of Us will be brought forward and will be broadcast next Saturday, February 11.
