Disney Plus continues to be the perfect home for Star Wars. After the franchise released its three new films, as well as Rogue One and Han Solo, it has continued to bring new releases in the form of television series. The biggest success of them all has been The Mandalorian, but there have also been other great ventures such as Andor and Obi-Wan Kenobi.
The next major series on the horizon for the platform is Ahsoka. This series will focus on the character of the same name, created by Dave Filoni and his favorite character from the saga. We already had a glimpse of her in The Mandalorian, so it’s clear that she can become a significant asset for the future of Star Wars. Here’s everything we know about the series.

What is Ahsoka about?
While there isn’t an official synopsis for Ahsoka yet, we have enough information to have an idea of what to expect. The character was Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader’s former Padawan, so it’s likely that Hayden Christensen will reprise his role.
However, the events will take place during the timeline of The Mandalorian. Thus, we know that the main villain to be defeated will be Grand Admiral Thrawn, who made the young Jedi Ezra Bridger disappear many years ago. In her quest, Ahsoka will face countless threats.

Cast of Ahsoka
The confirmed main cast for the Ahsoka series includes:
- Rosario Dawson as Ahsoka Tano
- Hayden Christensen as Darth Vader / Anakin Skywalker
- Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren
- Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Hera Syndulla
- Ray Stevenson as Baylan Skoll
- Ivanna Sakhno as Shin Hati
- Mena Massoud as Bridger
- Lars Mikkelsen as Grand Admiral Thrawn
