Amazon’s Tomb Raider series hit with UK safety warning: hazardous paint chemicals cited

In April 2026, Amazon Prime Video’s Tomb Raider series turned up in an official UK safety warning from the Health and Safety Executive. That month, the HSE issued an improvement notice to Project Temple Productions Ltd after finding breaches of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations 2002. According to the notice, Project Temple Productions Ltd had failed to properly monitor and control crew exposure to isocyanate paints, which the HSE said are linked to occupational asthma and other respiratory risks.
