AMD Radeon RX 9000 prices jump in Q3 2026: RX 9070 XT tops $1,000

AMD has revised Q3 2026 pricing for several Radeon RX 9000 graphics cards. The update shows up in AMD regional retail channels and in board-partner listings, with MSRP and SEP moving up across part of the stack.

The sharpest increase hits the Radeon RX 9070 XT. It launched in early 2025 at $599, climbed to roughly $719 by early August 2026, and now shows up above $1,000 in some official listings and retail channels. A card that started out as a value play for enthusiasts is now edging into premium-GPU pricing.

The first reports came out of China. North America and Europe still haven’t seen broad official confirmation, but as older inventory clears out, the higher numbers will likely show up there too. Early reporting points to rising GDDR6 memory costs as the main reason, and AMD isn’t alone here. Nvidia and board partners such as ASUS and Gigabyte appear to be dealing with the same squeeze.
