Being the Apple Watch one of the only Apple devices that we always wear, it is also one of the ones that most reflects our personal taste and style. Apple takes this into account and it is reflected in the variety of straps and cases available, although there is another element of the watch that is decisive for its image: the dial.
In addition to the physical device, another element that marks the identity of our watch is the dial. We can choose between several spheres with very different designs. Likewise, we can use our own photos to create spheres and give it an even more personal touch.
How to create a photo sphere
We can choose from several dial designs and, if we still want more options, the photo sphere allows us to put any wallpaper image on our Apple Watch. The sphere offers us to create it from a single photo, which can also be Live or static and that we can have transferred from a computer, or from a group of photos that will rotate and change every time we look at our watch.
How to create a sphere from a single photo
- Open the Photos app on your Apple Watch.
- Choose the photo you are interested in.
- Press the clock-shaped button at the bottom left.
- Select Photos.
The new sphere will be created and activated automatically.
How to create a sphere from a photo collection
- Press hard on the current dial (where we see the time).
- We move to our right (on the screen or by turning the digital crown) until we find the New option.
- Press on it.
- Use the digital crown to find Photos.
- Click on it.
By default the dial will use the album that is synchronized with the watch (the same one we used in the previous steps to create the dial).
Just as we can customize the home screen of our iPhone, within the customization options of the Apple Watch the Photos sphere is probably the one that offers more creative options. If we go beyond a simple photo of a landscape and start exploring logos, positions, etc., we can create very original dials.
