PlayStation Direct, Sony’s official online store, is now officially available in Spain and Portugal. This means that it is now possible to directly purchase a wide range of physical games, consoles, and products for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation VR2 without the need for any intermediaries.
This is great news, as this service was not available in our country until now. Although it was available in the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Austria, and Italy, its arrival in Spain and Portugal completes the service by reaching eleven of its major markets. Even though there is still a long way to go to be present in all key territories.
In any case, this is fantastic news because PlayStation Direct also offers unique products and special editions that cannot be purchased anywhere else. For example, the Hogwarts Legacy DualSense controller was an exclusive item available only through this store and could not be bought from any other retailer.
With free 30-day returns, free standard delivery for all orders over 39 euros, and no additional cost for delivery to PS Plus subscribers, PlayStation Direct is poised to become an important service within the PlayStation catalog. It can quickly become one of those reasons that sway the decision to purchase a console over others.
