In Larian, they have already confirmed that they don’t want to make more Baldur’s Gate 3. It’s something normal, if we think about it coldly. They have made an award-winning game, loved by critics and the public, and it’s normal that they want to do something else. Closing that sweet episode of their careers and confidently tackling the next one. That doesn’t mean that, for the farewell, they have decided to go out with a bang. Because Baldur’s Gate 3 patch 7 is probably the biggest of them all.

These tools, which can be downloaded separately from the game itself, will allow us to modify the game much more deeply than we could before. This should greatly help the modding community, which has already worked hard and consistently on the title, but whose work should be much easier from now on.
Another thing they have added is improvements to some of the endings, specifically the “evil” endings. Underdeveloped and lacking spark, choosing the path of evil may not have been as enticing as it should have been in Baldur’s Gate 3. That will change thanks to the new, extended, and developed endings, which will make it much more interesting to approach the game from this darker perspective.
In addition, they have also modified the multiplayer split-screen experience. Now the screen will split when the players’ characters move away from each other and will come together when they get closer, making the experience more seamless and natural. Making this mode much more user-friendly for all players.
Along with this, they have also introduced a myriad of changes of all kinds in the game. From bugs to minor adjustments and some fixes, they have ensured that everything is as it should be before leaving the game in the hands of the community. And it seems that Baldur’s Gate 3 couldn’t be more finished at this point. In Larian Studios, they have already given us everything they promised and much more. So now we have to see what the community will do with the new tools and what Larian will do once they are no longer tied to the Baldur’s Gate.
