We already know that Bella Ramsey’s Twitter feed has been one of the most active since The Last of Us began, and the actress hasn’t let up one bit during the finale. So while Joel (Pedro Pascal) was unleashing his furious revenge and Ellie (Bella Ramsey) was debating whether he was lying to her at the end, Ramsey posted some particularly relevant GIFs and a hashtag that’s giving her something to talk about.

It’s hard to draw many conclusions from all this – if you haven’t played the video game – but they reflect the ambiguous way the show ends, and what Joel’s lie will mean for the duo’s dynamic in season two, which we already know won’t span the entire game. Hopefully Ramsey has more fun behind-the-scenes photos saved for a later post.

Speaking of which, Merle Dandridge, who plays Boston Firefly leader Marlene, also posted on Twitter after the finale. “That’s my best friend. She’s a real bad p**”, she wrote, referencing Saweetie’s song and sharing a photo of herself alongside Ashley Johnson, who plays her best friend and Ellie’s mother in a flashback sequence in the finale, as well as reminding us that she is the original voice of Ellie in the video game. And behind the scenes, it’s good to see them smiling together, but it’s also sad to remember that tragic opening scene in the final episode of the Last of Us.

Meanwhile, Neil Druckmann, creator of the game and co-creator of the show, shared a behind-the-scenes photo sent to him by Laura Bailey, who lends her voice to key character Abby in The Last of Us Part II game and has a cameo in the finale. Druckmann also posted a thank you to fans that reads, “Can’t wait to do it again with all of you! See you all next season! Until then, hang in there and survive!”
