What would our lives be without video games, right? In times when there is so much uncertainty and when the socioeconomic context is not doing its part to motivate us, hobbies like video games (whether on mobile, consoles or PC) help us to put our minds in other worlds.
If we have already told you about the great releases coming this February, today we would like to tell you about the great videogame releases of this week. Take note, you may find yourself in front of the game you will be hooked on for the rest of the month.
Endling: Extinction is Forever
It is important to remember that we are not alone on the planet, and video games can be a great way to remind us of that. Endling: Extinction is Forever is a videogame made by Herobeat Studios, a Spanish studio that aims to make us aware of what could happen in the not too distant future if pollution and climate change continue.
In this game of adventure and survival we will see the daily life of a family of foxes trying to survive an environmental cataclysm caused by (I think you’ll guess) the human being. Structured in cycles of day and night, we will have to leave our den to explore and look for food to feed our offspring, taking special care of humans, who will not hesitate to catch us.

Hogwarts Legacy
Avalanche‘s new title based on the Harry Potter universe is one of the most eagerly awaited releases of the year, and this week it finally hits the market. In Hogwarts Legacy we will manage a student who enters the fifth year of Hogwarts, the school of magic and wizardry, and who has the strange ability to see “whispers of ancient magic“.
An open world game in which we can explore on foot, swimming or flying, and wander through places like Hogwarts Castle, Hogsmeade and other mysterious places. All this while we go to class and we face enemies of all kinds with the help of our wand (and a good assortment of spells).
