Solve five Blue Tower puzzles, then activate the station panel

Big Walk came out on August 4, 2026, and the train isn’t something you turn on with a quick switch flip. You unlock it through the Blue Tower questline. To get the train running, you need to solve five island puzzle sequences, collect the five gourd-shaped items, place them at the top of the Blue Tower to receive a key, cut that key with the machines around the tower base, and then use it at the nearby station control panel. The first time you use that panel, it also unlocks the Big Ride achievement. If you already know the route, the full Blue Tower sequence usually takes about 15 to 20 minutes. If you’re new to the island and to the way Big Walk handles co-op puzzles, it can take closer to an hour.
Once the train is running, you get three slow but reliable trains looping around the map. Each one carries a walkie-talkie and a radio receiver, so the railway does more than move you from one place to another. It also helps with communication, keeping the group together, and solving puzzles.
If you play Big Walk with a regular co-op group, unlocking the train is worth doing. The Blue Tower sequence feels like a real progression milestone, not just a travel tool, and there haven’t been any major post-launch changes to that sequence so far.
Big Walk launched on August 4, 2026, and you can play it now on PC, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch 2.
