Blade Runner is heading off the screen and into a live attraction. Behaviour Interactive, PHI Studio, and Alcon Entertainment have announced an official immersive experience for 2027, with a touring run across North America that, in the companies’ own description, aims to drop fans right into the franchise’s rain-soaked, neon-lit dystopia.
Behaviour Interactive and PHI Studio are building the Blade Runner experience with Alcon Entertainment. The companies are describing it as a multisensory, story-led attraction shaped not only by the series’ visual style, but also by the bigger ideas running through Blade Runner: identity, memory, and what counts as human. So the pitch isn’t just a string of recognizable sets or callbacks to Blade Runner and Blade Runner 2049. For now, though, the practical details are still missing. The companies haven’t shared cities, dates, venues, ticket prices, runtime, or much about the interactive tech behind it.
If you’re already a Blade Runner fan, this feels like one to keep an eye on when tickets finally go up. For Behaviour Interactive, it pushes the company past traditional game work. The timing could help too, since Amazon’s live-action series Blade Runner 2099 is expected to hit Prime Video in late 2026. And there is some precedent here. Earlier real-world versions of the property, including the 2017 San Diego Comic-Con installation and Secret Cinema’s UK events, already suggested that Blade Runner’s world lands especially well when people can walk through it.
This announcement also lands after a rougher stretch for Blade Runner in interactive media. Reported cancellations of Blade Runner 2033: Labyrinth and Blade Runner: Time to Live took some of the franchise’s momentum with them. What the companies are saying now is straightforward: the Blade Runner experience will tour North America starting in 2027.
