Bleach returns September 17: Mirrors High gets a Tokyo Game Show reveal

Bleach: Mirrors High is headed to Tokyo Game Show for a showcase on September 17, the announcement says. Just don’t take that as a sign that the Bleach manga is coming back, or that there’s a surprise new anime about to drop.

This is Bleach: Mirrors High, a mobile game. It has an original story set after Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War, plus new characters designed by Tite Kubo. The same announcement also points to a closed beta running from July 22 to July 29, 2026, which makes this feel bigger than the usual quick franchise tie-in.

If you keep up with Bleach, this is probably one to watch. Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War – The Calamity was already confirmed for July 25, 2026 in earlier official announcements, and the series still has plenty of commercial weight behind it: the anime, manga sales, licensing, merchandise, mobile games, and streaming deals are all still carrying it. You can see that push in the 25th anniversary material too, from the Bleach: JET art book to a sequel to the spin-off light novel Don’t Bleach My Fist. The rumored Hell Arc, though, is still just a rumor. Tite Kubo and Shueisha still haven’t confirmed it, even with all the speculation tied to the 2021 anniversary one-shot cliffhanger.

So the next update lands September 17 at Tokyo Game Show, where Bleach: Mirrors High will be presented as a mobile title.
