If you missed the announcement in February, Bob Dylan is set to start his Rough And Rowdy Ways 2021-2024 tour in Japan on April 6, 2023, at the Festival Hall in Osaka. The program so far will end on June 30th in Lyon, France. Of course, dates and locations may change due to any unexpected circumstances.

Many fans have been watching his latest concerts in recent years. While I haven’t watched a single Bob Dylan show myself, I’ve been reading some of the comments from those who have. Several were disappointed not to hear any of the classic tunes, which I’m sure they would have wanted to sing themselves in the crowd.

There have been many positive reviews of note. While his voice is rougher now, he still carries that signature tune that’s an acquired taste. You either love how it sounds or you don’t, basically. Fans have mentioned loving how he’s been moving around on stage, free, and enjoying his singing career at this stage in his life.

It doesn’t matter which side of the fence you end up on. Either way, viewers have been left standing and cheering at the end of shows. That’s what I expect will happen with Bob Dylan on the Rough And Rowdy Ways tour. The band supporting him will easily switch between the different tempos and keys, swaying along to the voice that has held generations together for so long.

If you’re keen to hear Bob Dylan’s classic voice on tour, make sure you check the dates and see if tickets are available on the official site. The locations include Japan, Portugal, Spain, and France, which means I’ll be missing out.
