The Boss is back. The artist known as The Boss is one of the legends we have left from a golden era where Rock & Roll was everything and music sounded on vinyl and cassettes. In 2023, Bruce Springsteen is hitting the road again, something he has always loved.
To kick off the tour, the Boss has decided to visit Barcelona. His first stop on the “2023 Springsteen & E Street Band Tour” is the city of Barcelona on two dates: April 28 and April 30. From then on, he will visit 11 countries.
It will be a long tour, starting on April 28 in Barcelona (Spain) and ending on July 25 in Monza (Italy). Three full months with 28 concerts already closed. Here below is the complete tour.
Something curious about this tour is that first many fewer concerts were announced. When all of them sold out in less than a day, the Boss decided to extend his stay and repeat in almost all the cities where he plays, so more people would have the opportunity to see him perform.
When you get on stage at 70 years old, you never know when you’re going to do it again. You have to remember that the last time he performed in Spain was in 2016. That means that 7 years have passed since his last visit. Will we see Bruce with 80 performing? Hopefully, but we can doubt it.
If you follow the Boss on social networks (Twitter in this case) you can see that he is already in the middle of a promotional campaign. The American tour started a few months ago and next week he will cross the pond to land in Europe.
The best part? When he’s done here he’s heading back to the States to continue the tour, which will end on December 8 in San Francisco (USA). He’s crazy, but he’s our crazy guy.

What are we expecting from Springsteen’s 2023 tour?
Two things must be very clear here. Bruce Springsteen is a musical animal, a tireless songwriter and a professional on stage. So this year’s tour is going to be as incredible as the 30 he’s been on his shoulders.
But Bruce is a realist and knows he has an age. In another situation, with 20 years less, in this tour he would play us a lot of his new material: his album called Only the Strong Survive. This is a compilation of great soul songs from the 40’s and 50’s. And, to tell the truth, the album is a marvel.
For that reason what we will see in Barcelona on April 28th and 30th will be a Bruce Springsteen turned to his fans and playing the songs that made him be known as… The Boss.
We will listen to Born in the USA, Thunder Road, Born to Run, The River, Because the Night, etc. His great classics will not be missing. He can afford it, but we cannot.
But… who is Bruce Springsteen?
Bruce Springsteen was born on September 23, 1949 in New Jersey, and later settled with his family in Freehold Borough, where he spent his childhood, a small town also in the state of New Jersey.
Springsteen is one of the most important figures in American music and culture. Winner of an Oscar, the Presidential Medal of Freedom, a Kennedy Center Honors, a Golden Globe and countless Grammy Awards.
Springsteen has been the voice of many generations in the United States, which is why he is such a powerful artist. He speaks about freedom, politics, human rights, love… Although he is known as a rock singer, he has always considered himself a singer-songwriter surrounded by a great band.
If you couldn’t buy tickets to see Bruce in concert next April 28th and 30th in Barcelona, don’t worry, you will always have Spotify.
