Candy Crush Soda Saga out worldwide on iOS and Android

KING today announced the worldwide release of Candy Crush Soda Saga, the sequel to the massive mobile hit Candy Crush Saga.

The game, now arriving on mobile platforms after its original Facebook release, stays in Candy Kingdom and adds new environments, candies and characters. Play as Kimmy, Tiffi and Mr Toffee through 135 levels, although more are sure to be added soon.

There are five game modes:

Soda – Players are tasked to fill the board with fizzy purple soda

Soda Bears – Gamers must release the floating bears in soda

Frosting – Fight to crush the ice to free the bears

Honey – Release the bears stuck in the honey

Chocolate – Remove all the chocolate from the board

The basic gameplay remains unchanged, so fans of the original will slip right back into the game. The model is also the same – you can pay in-game if you want to speed up your progress. As well as improved graphics and new content, Candy Crush Soda Saga even boasts a soundtrack featuring the London Symphony Orchestra.

It of course features everything South Park satirized last week…
