What is the third season of Demon Slayer about?
The third season of Demon Slayer arrives on the small screen. Tanjiro’s journey leads him to seek the help of Hotaru Haganezuka to fix his shattered sword, but enemies are always on the prowl.
While his sword is out of commission, new demons approach him, his sister Nezuko and his friends Inosuke and Zenitsu to hunt them down. He will meet two villainous demons from the Upper Moon: Hantengu and Gyokko.
In addition to a new theme song for the third season of the series, the Hashiras of Love and Mist will join the fray with their fantastic sword and breathing styles.
When will the third season be released and on which platform?
After closing the entertainment district arc in the manga and TV series, this Swordsmith story in Demon Slayer picks up where the main story left off, setting Tanjiro on a path to find a mysterious, ancient weapon while his sword is being repaired.
The first episode will premiere as a one-hour special and fans in the West (about 200 countries) will be able to watch the series on Crunchyroll starting Sunday, April 9.
