Did you enjoy ‘Obsession’? We already know where you’ll be able to see its main characters again, and no, it’s not in ‘Fortnite’

It’s clear that Curry Barker, the director of Obsession, is going to become one of the big names in horror over the next decade, whatever he does from here on out… And that’s even though he’s barely seeing any money after the success of his movie! But don’t worry, because he will from here on out, with the franchise that’s already being put together based on the film and that will begin, naturally… at an amusement park.

No, it’s not horror, this is obsession

Even though the true villain of the movie is, by all appearances, Bear (and if you see it any other way, you might want to give it another look), the truth is that Nikki is much more iconic in every sense. That’s why Universal has picked the character for its annual Halloween event in October, Halloween Horror Nights, at Universal Studios Hollywood. And what will she be doing? Well, not much, because the success came after most of it had already been prepared.

The creative director of these scary nights has already said “Nikki is out there somewhere, you need to get into a Where’s Waldo?-style mindset. She could be looking for her next obsession and I’ll leave it there”. I’ve never so badly wanted to yell at someone that they didn’t understand the movie at all and that at no point is she looking for her obsession. But hey, anything to milk the IP. With any luck, they’ll understand it better in the future.

In this case, what you’ll see will be Nikki as she appears at the end of the movie, bloodied, in her friend’s dress and with the tattoos drawn on her body. That said, at least Universal has realized the blunder and has already described her as “the last victim of the terrifying curse of the One Wish Willow”. Justice for Nikki, for God’s sake
