How many hours have you already spent in Hogwarts Legacy? Too many? After being highly praised by the specialized press, Avalanche‘s new title is already on the market, and thousands of fans of the magical world of Harry Potter are throwing expelliarmus with their wands and… well… the occasional avada kedavra. Quite a few.
If we already told you how to get exclusive rewards if you play on PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5, and if you connect your Warner Bros. Games and Wizarding World accounts, today we bring you a way to get several rewards thanks to Twitch drops. And take good note, because one of them will only be available (for now) this February 10.
Twitch has a system of drops with which viewers can get rewards on their favorite games just by watching streams. It is a very simple system that will require, basically, that you are registered on Twitch and that you watch a channel on the platform that meets certain characteristics.
Avalanche has wanted to join this initiative through two different types of drops that allow players to get several rewards for Hogwarts Legacy. The first one is a set of four skins for the character’s clothing that includes silver dragon glasses, a golfer’s cap, a crimson lightning scarf and a lilac outfit. The second, and most peculiar, is a Merlin cape.
To get them, you must follow the steps below:
- Create a Warner Bros. Games account or log in to it if you already have one.
- Connect your Twitch account with your Warner Bros. Games account. To do this, go to this link, click “CONNECT” and in the new window, log in to Twitch. After that, just click “Continue” to link your account.
- For the first set of drops, you must watch the stream of a random channel playing Hogwarts Legacy live (no VOD) for 30 minutes. Once the time has elapsed, you must redeem your reward in your inventory. After this, continue watching the stream for another 30 minutes. You will have to follow this procedure until you have obtained all four skins.
- For the second drop, you must watch the Avalanche stream on February 10 at 5 p.m. (Spanish time) for at least 20 minutes. Once the time has passed, check your inventory and redeem it.
- Activate the rewards in the game by clicking on this link and clicking on the rewards you have obtained.
- Once you log into the game, you will see the rewards you have earned once you log into the game in the main menu.
Note that the second drop (Merlin’s cape) will only be available on February 10 (at least until further notice), so don’t miss this opportunity if you want to wear the cape that Merlin himself wore (or at least what he looked like). Also, Twitch drops can sometimes fail, so if you want to get them all, we recommend you get this second type of drop first and then watch your favorite streamer play to get the other four rewards.
