Just a few days ago we told you about the good performance of Tomb Raider: Reloaded, the new installment of the famous franchise that came to smartphones. Well, now we must add one more to cell phones, with a practically similar approach: Mighty Doom.
In fact, Doom is also aimed at smartphones with a roguelike game where we have to shoot and think in equal parts (and not one thing before the other). To do this, from an overhead perspective we must manage our beloved protagonist, who will have to kill all the enemies on screen to pass the level. The more stages we complete, the better, as it will also help us to level up the character and learn new skills.
Unlike the original titles, this Mighty Doom game has a more cartoonish tone in all aspects: cartoon characters, big heads, very strident colors, etc. However, what remains unchanged is the brutality and action characteristic of Doom. This does not change at all, especially if we consider that each stage will be completed in a few seconds thanks to the more accessible touch controls. If you have played the aforementioned Tomb Raider: Reloaded or Archero, you will have a quick idea of what we are going to have ahead of us.
“Run and gun through hordes of adorably violent demons, iconic levels and challenging bosses as you level up, unlock powerful abilities and upgrade your equipment,” comments the press release Bethesda sent out to announce the game.
Grab your favorite weapon with the Mini Slayer and go charging at the demons. How long can you hold out without dying?
