Dying Light 2 might be getting a new game mode in the future. The developers of the popular game have released statements that they are looking into adding a new game+ mode to Dying Light 2.
The New Game+ mode is a feature that’s already included in many other popular games, but for some reason, it is not currently available on Dying Light 2. The game has done very well since its release about a month ago. However, many players commented that they would appreciate a New Game+ mode.
A feature like this would allow players to start a new game once they complete it. At the moment, the game continues, and there is no option to start new. Techland, the developers behind Dying Light 2, have responded to messages on their Twitter feed regarding the possibility of adding the New Game+ mode to the game. In their most recent response, they mention that they are looking into adding the game mode, but at this point, they can’t promise anything yet.
This is not the first time the developers have mentioned adding this mode to the game. So, it would appear that they still haven’t made a decision yet. Although not a firm yes, the company hasn’t denied the possibility at this point, so we might see this game mode appearing in Dying Light 2 in the future.
Despite no confirmation on adding a New Game+ mode, Techland did announce that they’ll be releasing a new patch in the coming weeks, starting with PC and then moving to console. This new major update will bring a lot of new content to the game while also fixing many bugs.
We’ll be keeping our eyes on this to see if Techland brings a New Game+ mode to Dying Light in the future. Having this option available will add a lot of benefits to players who enjoy the game and want to try it in another way from the beginning. If you haven’t played it yet, here are 10 things you should know before you start playing Dying Light 2.
