The studio that developed God of War would be working on a new game

Within the world of video games, LinkedIn can be a very effective tool, especially for glimpsing what is happening in the industry. Now, the profile of a developer from Santa Monica Studios has given clues about the existence of a new IP.

We are referring to Glauco Longhi, a character artist whose resume speaks for itself: he first worked for Sony and Naughty Dog on Uncharted 4. Then, he took on the same role in the development of God of War (2016) and later worked as the lead character artist on God of War Ragnarök.

However, Longhi left the company to join Striking Distance Studios, where he served as art director. Before returning to Santa Monica Studios in April, he spent 10 months as art director at Unknown Worlds Entertainment, the developer of Subnautica.

Longhi posted a publication on his LinkedIn profile announcing that “Santa Monica Studios presented me with the opportunity to return as character supervisor, taking care of the entire character development process in their new intellectual property, so here I am, delighted to be working with the team again and together driving the characters in video games”(Resetera)
