Operation Avalon, the latest alpha test for EVE Vanguard, is live now on PC and runs through July 20, 2026, according to Fenris Creations. The studio says this public test pushes the shooter into a tighter, more focused alpha phase. It also brings Vanguard closer to EVE Online through a crossover world event, where expeditions can trigger events and uncover valuable sites for EVE players. And yes, there’s a new map: Lost Convoy, built around salvage and mining, with Mordu’s Legion standing guard.
There’s more in this build. Operation Avalon reworks the gunplay, adds a Minmatar bolt carbine and an Amarr laser DMR, and introduces new Harmonic Bridge extractions that make getting out riskier. All of that comes ahead of the planned 24/7 persistent alpha in November 2026, which Fenris Creations says will be exclusive to the EVE Launcher. If you want a look at where EVE Vanguard, the standalone extraction FPS, is headed within the larger EVE universe, this alpha is worth downloading. You can play Operation Avalon for free right now through the EVE Launcher or on Steam.
