Even if you no longer watch it, 'Grey's Anatomy' continues on… even though its own actors are already talking about the end

Grey’s Anatomy was born in the so-called “golden age of series,” back in 2005 and, in a way, 22 years later, it is still standing. It has survived COVID, its main character stepping down, actors leaving, and practically everything you can imagine. As long as it remains one of the most-watched series, it will continue… although its actors are already saying that everything will come to an end sooner or later.

Trapped in the Elevator

It is the case of Jason George, who joined the series in season 10 playing Ben Warner, an anesthesiologist who became a resident and eventually starred in his own firefighter series, Station 19, before returning to the hospital and marrying the one and only Dr. Bailey. Well, even someone with this background knows that everything can end overnight.

“I know that all the series that are aired get canceled someday. It’s just a matter of people treating it with respect while you walk the path. That’s what I have, and I’m having a great time”, he stated, fully aware that in season 23 he will be back in the hospital, on the front lines, in the closest thing to a civil service job in Hollywood.

It’s hard for fans to see it the same way, especially because Kim Raver and Kevin McKidd have left the series after season 22, leaving followers without two of their favorite characters, Owen and Teddy. In the end, anyone can fall into this series. Luckily, they are prepared, although we probably will never even see the cancellation of Grey’s Anatomy, the perennial series.
