Facebook just introduced another change. As of now, it will be prioritizing broadcasts from the new Facebook Live service, over the other forms of content you have grwon used to over the years.

Of course, you will still be able to see regular updates from your contacs, however this frequency will decrease, depending on how many of your contacts are already using new feature.

Facebook is about to make what you loved – disappear!

We’ve seen that on average people watch a live video more than three times longer when it is live compared to when it is not live.” says Facebook.

The company has also stated that it wishes to cut the publication of viral content to give Live video more coverage on news feeds around the world. According to reliable sources, Facebook has been looking at the various ways that it can benefit from video, therefore viral content navigating users away from the site will be of no value to the social media giant in the future.

The truth is, you probably won’t notice these changes happening for the time being. It’s not as if Facebook is going to stop listing the content you’re used to seeing, but then again, this is only the beginning. Keep an eye on your wall over the next week or so – you’re sure to notice that certain items are becoming more and more infrequent.
