Fast X has just been released in theaters and Fast & Furious fans couldn’t be more on fire with this release. The film will undoubtedly fill theaters this weekend, and is expected to be one of the most watched releases of both the summer and the entire year. It’s the first film in a final trilogy of the saga, so it’s no wonder they’ve pulled out all the stops.
However, many are anticipating events and are already wondering when it will be released on streaming platforms. Whether for the convenience of watching it at home or to repeat the movie theater experience, there are more than a few who are already looking for how to watch Fast X on platforms, so here we are going to try to answer that question.
When will Fast X be released on streaming platforms?
At the moment, there is no exact date as to when we will be able to see Fast & Furious X on streaming platforms. This is something that the distribution channels reserve until the film has been in theaters for several weeks, so it’s not surprising that we don’t know anything yet.
However, we can make guesses and calculate when it will be available for streaming taking into account other releases. In the case of Fast & Furious 9, for example, it was released after a month in rental and purchase on different platforms and, after another three months or so, on Amazon Prime Video. Thus, we could be talking about similar dates, also taking into account that franchises such as John Wick also repeat this formula.

On which platform will Fast X be released?
If we follow the trajectory of the latest Fast & Furious movies, we can be sure that Fast X will be released on Amazon Prime Video. Also, probably, on Movistar+, where in Spain they have the distribution rights of the latest movies.
However, there is one factor that did not play before and is now of vital importance: SkyShowtime. The film is from Paramount, and SkyShowtime belongs to this studio, so it could arrive here. Of course, the rights to the saga may go separate from the rest, as happens with other franchises, and it will remain on Amazon Prime Video. Where it does not seem that we will see it is on Netflix, where they barely have the series Fast & Furious: Full Throttle Spies.
Prior to this free release, the film will likely arrive for rental and/or purchase on platforms such as Amazon’s own Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV+ or Rakuten TV.
