‘FIie Nights At Freddy’s’ opens its first real-life pizzeria. No one guarantees you’ll come out of this culinary experience alive

It’s been 12 years since we first met Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. And although Five Nights at Freddy’s has now become a mega-franchise with movies, dozens of video games and all kinds of spin-offs, the core will always remain the same: a bunch of animatronics with a very nasty streak and a thirst for blood. So, of course, they just couldn’t hold back… and the fictional pizzeria will open its first real location in 2027!

The pizza part isn’t tomato sauce

To enjoy one of its pizzas, though, you’ll have to go all the way to New Jersey, in the United States. More specifically, to East Rutherford, a suburb 11 kilometers from New York where just over 10,000 people live and best known as the home of MetLife Stadium, where the final match of the last World Cup was played. Naturally, with all that commotion, who was going to notice a couple of hungry foodies missing?

The place won’t be some tacky fan experience, but rather a reimagining of the original location with details everywhere, and where (don’t worry) hopefully nobody will end up getting stabbed. What’s more: those who go can enjoy not just the food but also two animatronic shows (one with Freddy and his band, another with Foxy the Pirate), play arcade games or take part in survival horror experiences, as it should be.

Its creator, Atreyu Alcantar (yes, Atreyu!) knows very well what the fans want: “The only way for this experience to succeed is if it’s created by a team that knows Five Nights at Freddy’s inside out. The animatronic show has to be real. The food has to be high quality. And above all, we’re not building a place that looks like Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza: we’re building Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza”.
