Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 is official: Sonic, Persona and Tetris crossovers

Epic Games has set August 20, 2026 as the date for Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4: Override, and the season trailer, along with a teaser in the official Fortnite Discord, confirms crossover content with Sonic the Hedgehog, Persona, and Tetris, turning one of the game’s worst-kept secrets into something official.

That reveal lines up with months of Gaming Legends crossover rumors. Sonic the Hedgehog, Persona, and Tetris seem to be the big names leading the season, but earlier leaks have also pointed to Pac-Man and Mega Man showing up.

Fortnite’s teasers make it look like a Green Hill Zone point of interest could be on the way, along with some kind of Sonic speed Mythic. “TakeYourHeart” match leaks saying Joker could end up as a Battle Pass skin. Tetris is confirmed as well, though it’s still not clear what part it’ll play, especially after Fortnite’s Tetris Creative island from September 2024 and the Unstable event teaser from August 15, 2026, both hinted at Tetris and maybe Crash Bandicoot too.
