Fortnite is switching things up for Season 10 with a brand new challenge format. Instead of the usual weekly challenges, groups of nested challenges called Missions will be released each week. Completing each challenge set will unlock unique rewards, such as Battle Stars and cosmetic items. The first challenge set, dubbed “Road Trip,” will take players back to the days of Season 5. Here’s all the Road Trip challenges and how to solve them.

Visit a Drift-painted Durrr Burger Head, a dinosaur, and a Stone Head Statue

  • Stage 1: Durrr Burger Head

Most players by now will probably know where to look for this distinctive burger head. It sits alone atop a small hill on the outskirts of Loot Lake. You’ll be able to spot it from quite a distance.

  • Stage 2: Dinosaur

To find the dinos, head south of Paradise Palms. Follow the road, and soon you’ll come to a large curve where you’ll see a park of touristy looking dino statues. Check out the triceratops.

  • Stage 3: Stone Head Statue

Finally, you’ll run across one of the iconic stone heads from Season 5 if you head slightly northeast of the frozen lake in the map’s snow biome.

If you’re having trouble tracking down these locations, they’re all marked on the map below.

Deal damage to opponents while riding in a vehicle (200)

Though it may be tempting to use one of this season’s new B.R.U.T.E. mechs to finish this stage of the challenge, that might be easier said than done. Instead, we recommend hopping on a driftboard and shooting opponents with a shotgun as you glide by. It should be pretty easy to hit the required 200 damage with this method.

Destroy stop signs with the Catalyst outfit (10)

You’ll need to use the new Catalyst battle pass outfit for this one. Once you’re suited up, simply wreck 10 stop signs to finish the challenges. You’ll want to look around roadways. Stop signs are especially plentiful in the desert biome.

Ride a zipline in different matches (3)

If you’re having trouble tracking down ziplines, take a look around Lonely Lodge and in the snow biome. They tend to be most plentiful there, and you’ll be able to mark off this stage of the challenge without any issues.

Search a chest in different named locations (3)

Though the challenge format might be different, the challenges themselves are still pretty familiar. Pop open three chests in any different named locations of your choice to finish this one.

Visit Lazy Lagoon and Lucky Landing in a single match

You’ll need to make quite a journey for this challenge, so we recommend grabbing a vehicle beforehand. You’ll basically need to traverse the map from north to south to finish this one; you can start at either location. We also recommend trying a match of Team Rumble for this one. The matches are longer and you’ll be able to respawn if you die, which should make it a little easier to finish this trek.

Get trick points with a vehicle (250,000)

This challenge may seem like a tall order at first, but it’s actually easier than it sounds. You’ll definitely want to grab a Driftboard for this one; it’ll be super easy to use it to catch air and land tricks, and soon enough you’ll have hit the 250,000 point threshold.

Alex's first experience with video games came at the tender young age of 12, when his parents gave him and his brothers a PlayStation 2 for Christmas. They’ve probably been regretting that mistake ever since, because as soon he finished his first lap in Gran Turismo 3, Alex was hooked for life. In addition to writing for Softonic, Alex has turned that love of games into a voice acting career, and has voiced everything from grizzled old soldiers to vampire lords. When he's not gaming or getting behind the microphone, Alex can probably be found wandering the woods around Boston or putting together some new culinary delight in his kitchen.
