DJ Yonder

DJ Yonder

Rarity: Epic

Tier: 1

Description: One of the two skins unlocked from the start, DJ Yonder is a disco DJ in the vein of Daft Punk or Deadmau5… albeit with a llama-flavored twist. His outfit is sure to pump up the arena, and includes some sweet lighting effects that let DJ Yonder take the party with him wherever he goes.

Calamity

Calamity

Rarity: Legendary

Tier: 1

Description: Calamity is certainly one of the most detailed skins available this season. Including six selectable styles and three different color schemes, Calamity’s different skins chart her journey from a simple ranch hand to a ghostly, vengeful desperado (pictured above). Her customizations can be unlocked by gaining experience, and will let players make her look unique. By completing her challenges, players can also unlock her harvesting tool… a steampunk looking pickaxe topped with a railroad spike.

Giddy-Up

Giddy-Up

Rarity: Epic

Tier: 23

Description: Giddy-Up looks more ready for a party prank than a Battle Royale arena. A slightly upgraded version on the default skin, Giddy-Up’s costume makes it look like he’s riding a llama pool floaty. Players can ride this trusty steed all the way to a Victory Royale.

Fable

Fable

Rarity: Epic

Tier: 47

Description: Little Red Riding Hood isn’t so little anymore. This more grown-up version of the classic character looks ready to take on all manner of big-bad wolves… and may get the opportunity to. Players will also be able to unlock a themed glider and harvesting tool to complete her set.

Dusk

Dusk

Rarity: Epic

Tier: 71

Description: Dusk is the thing that goes bump in the night. This classical vampire looks like a character straight out of an “Underworld” movie… or a goth nightclub. Her color scheme and the presence of a vampiric castle looming over Haunted Hills seems to hint at some relation to the Shadow Stone that’s been reshaping the Battle Royale map… could Dusk’s vampire coven be behind the strange happenings?

Nightshade

Nightshade

Rarity: Epic

Tier: 86

Description: Nightshade is the hero that Tomato Temple deserves… but not the one it needs right now. A silent guardian and watchful protector, Nightshade is another in a long line of venerable Tomato themed skins… and certainly the most battle ready to date. She looks ready for any threat that comes her way with an armored jumpsuit and identity-concealing hood.

Dire

Dire

Rarity: Legendary

Tier: 100

Description: A play on classic 80s horror movies, Dire is a customizable skin like Calamity. The different styles chart a sportily-dressed teen’s stages in his werewolf transformation, eventually reaching the impressive final form pictured above. Also available are different fur and eye color schemes. It’s an impressive skin and sure to satisfy those players that climb to the top of the Battle Pass.

As with past seasons, players should keep their eyes open for other unique skins rotating through the item shop… and they’re sure to be just as creepy as their Battle Pass counterparts.

Alex's first experience with video games came at the tender young age of 12, when his parents gave him and his brothers a PlayStation 2 for Christmas. They’ve probably been regretting that mistake ever since, because as soon he finished his first lap in Gran Turismo 3, Alex was hooked for life. In addition to writing for Softonic, Alex has turned that love of games into a voice acting career, and has voiced everything from grizzled old soldiers to vampire lords. When he's not gaming or getting behind the microphone, Alex can probably be found wandering the woods around Boston or putting together some new culinary delight in his kitchen.
