Fortnite’s Season 7 Week 3 challenges provide an interesting mix between looting, combat, and a few more intricate challenges that might leave some scratching their heads. Here’s our guide to complete the full set of challenges and net yourself some serious battle stars.

Fortnite Week 3 Challenges Guide

Ride a Zipline in different matches

This is a fairly straightforward challenge stage. You’ll have to find and ride a total of five ziplines such as the one pictured above. They’re scattered all over the map, so they shouldn’t be hard to find. The only catch is that you need to do this in separate matches, so you’ll have to ride one over the course of five matches to mark the challenge as complete.

Landing Stages

This multi-stage challenge tasks you with dropping in at different match locations. The order goes as follows:

  • Stage 1: Land at Lonely Lodge
  • Stage 2: Land at Pleasant Park
  • Stage 3: Land at Lucky Landing
  • Stage 4: Land at Lazy Links
  • Stage 5: Land at Tilted Towers

Once you hit the ground at your final drop in Tilted, the challenge will complete.

Legendary Weapon Eliminations

Another fairly simple challenge, finishing this one is pretty much a roll of the dice. You’ll have to get your hands on a gold legendary weapon of any kind, and then eliminate two enemy players with it. It’s one of the more difficult challenges, but if you’re skilled and lucky enough to come across a legendary, you can get it done in a single match.

Search Chests at Polar Peak/Tomato Temple

It’s likely that this challenge will take a few matches to finish. You’ll need to search a total of 7 chests at either Polar Peak or Tomato Temple. Once you open the last chest, you’ll have completed the challenge.

Ring a doorbell in different named locations

This challenge is deceptively simple. All you need to do is ring two doorbells… but you’ll have to do so at different named locations, and do it in a single match. Our suggestion? Drop in at Salty Springs and ring a doorbell there, then hop on one of the ATVs located at the edge of town and quickly ride over to Pleasant Park to hit the second doorbell.

Search between three ski lodges

This challenge takes a bit of doing to finish. The ski lodges in question are located towards the southwestern corner of the map, and are pictured above. You should be able to spot a grove of snow-covered trees between the three lodges:

Head into these trees and search around for a bit and the hidden battle star should appear, ripe for the taking. If you’re having trouble finding this location, here it is on a map:

Deal Damage

The final challenge on the list will have you dealing damage with certain weapon types. The full list is as follows:

  • Stage 1: Deal damage with shotguns (200 damage)
  • Stage 2: Deal damage with pistols (200 damage)
  • Stage 3: Deal damage with sniper rifles (200 damage)

It’s a bit of a grind to complete, but once it’s finished, you’ll have successfully completed the full set of Week 3 challenges, which leaves you one step closer to finishing the Snowfall challenge set.

Alex's first experience with video games came at the tender young age of 12, when his parents gave him and his brothers a PlayStation 2 for Christmas. They’ve probably been regretting that mistake ever since, because as soon he finished his first lap in Gran Turismo 3, Alex was hooked for life. In addition to writing for Softonic, Alex has turned that love of games into a voice acting career, and has voiced everything from grizzled old soldiers to vampire lords. When he's not gaming or getting behind the microphone, Alex can probably be found wandering the woods around Boston or putting together some new culinary delight in his kitchen.
