Foursquare has been updated on Android and iOS, and adds three useful new features: Real-time recommendations, Right now and Friends at a glance.
The real-time recommendations has already been partially rolled out on Android, and is now slowly being pushed to iOS users. The idea is that when you check-in somewhere, Foursquare can give you advice, like what’s popular on the menu, or money saving advice.
Right now is a ‘nearby’ button, which lets you see if any of your friends are in the area, and friends at a glance shows you friends’ most recent check-ins.
Foursquare is a social location service that lets you share with your friends the places you go, like restaurants and museums, and see how other users rate them too.
